Our image should be more present in media. People want to know about us, but there is not much public information about us yet.

Flat hierarchy. Despite Managements stellar track record (Successful Entrepreneurs, MBB Consultant etc.), I never felt patronized and always received an eye level communication line. The Greatest way to learn.

Working atmosphere of an early-stage start-up: Strong drive to create new products and have an impact on people's lives. Somewhat surprisingly with a much better work-life balance than I had in previous engagements (consulting).
No product on the market, therefore the image is obviously still lacking in the public eye. As an employer, Avi is building a good brand with really strong profiles of both founding team and first employees.
Great WBL. Founders make a point of offering flexible working hours and accomodating for family and private matters.

Communication is transparent and honest, could be more effective, however. Especially around approaches and 'how' things are done, there is a lot of back and forth which hurts productivity. To be fair though, this is not untypical of early-stage startups.

Made the switch from business development to product early on in the internship which aligns more with my interests and goals for this summer and leadership was very accommodating on that. We laid a lot of groundwork to start development of the product which included a bunch of research which is obviously not the most fun activity.
Fast working atmosphere were everybody can know what others are doing and the office provides a really good working environment with a good location, convenient office equipment such as height-adjustable tables, fresh fruits and breakfast each day.
Avi Medical is still in stealth mode and thus not well-known. However, I estimate the image to get really good once Avi is active and can provide a better patient experience than competitors.
