Suggestions for improvement
Give the experienced workers more salary and take workload of their back. In the current situation all of the talented workers will leave or are already leaving and only incompetent ones stay behind. Also the whole "you need to book every hour of your work" approach prevents knowledge transfer between colleagues.
Working atmosphere
Majority of colleagues is very friendly. Overall it is fun to come into the office.
Communication
Strongly dependent on the teams you are working in. Often there is a poor transfer of knowledge between colleagues. Also the huge amount of nationalities create language barriers with non german speaking colleagues. Poor budget management prevents proper knowledge transfer between colleagues (there is no budget for knowledge transfer).
Collegiality
It is good within a team/department but gets more difficult over the whole company.
Work-Life Balance
You have to plan your private life according to your work schedule, which can be quite unpredictable.
Leadership behavior
Superiors meet you at eye to eye level and you can openly address what's on your mind.
Interesting tasks
You might not even know what you will have to do when you start work in the morning. It never gets boring but if you enjoy it depends on your type. If you prefer routine it might be to much.
Equality
It is a extremely diverse team with a lot of nationalities.
Working conditions
There is no cafeteria. Offices are quite loud. There is no AC in the summer. There could be more coffee machines and water. No free WLAN.
Salary/Social benefits
Your salary won't increase much compared to other companies. There are no bonuses.
Image
AVL SFR doesn't really have it's own image. AVLs image is more related to AVL Graz and AVL SET.
Career/Professional development
It's more learning by doing than being properly trained to do your tasks. Noone shows you how to do your task. Most colleagues also don't get time or budget to train younger colleagues even if they wanted to. You will feel left alone when you start out.
