Bigpoint did very well in the recent few years because it had been run by a great management team: managing director who was fantastic for the company spirits and studio director who had a very good understanding of the company business, great management skills and a very structured approach. Unfortunately, they were replaced by an absolutely incapable managing director (who only got this role being a company owner's friend) who then appointed his toy boy as a studio director. Both lads with heavily overblown self-esteem, but rather miserable business understanding and truly awful management skills.
