I appreciate the opportunity provided but management needs to take more responsibility for the employees and the work pressure.
With almost all the employees working remotely, there are no benefits in place to at least pay for Internet for the employees. Given that the employer saves a lot of money on infrastructure.
The company needs to make prompt decisions in a timely manner. It does not bode well for the employee's morale when rigid, strategic decisions are made once things have gone out of control.
Bigpoint bietet eine gute Work-Life-Balance und folgende wichtige Werte: Vertrauen, Respekt, Transparenz, Empathie, Verantwortung und Verlässlichkeit.
Nichts !

flexible workhours, homeoffice
take small steps with a realistic aim, have a strategy/aim,
start learning; compliance!
Nice colleagues - atmosphere changes fromt team to team
We know that we have to improve...
With the possibility to do homeoffice every day - work-life balance improved a lot for myself. Also a big thanks to the WorksCouncil who suggested and negotiated with the employer and both made it possible.
Difficult - it was always if you are liked by your superior or not. But it changed to the better. WorksCouncil together with employer is workin on it to improve the process and make it more understandable
They are all nice and mostly easy to get a long with. Too many are still afraid to stand up to their lead, even if they know better.
No problem, some colleagues got old in the company.
Depends on the lead - in my opinion there are still some persons in positions where they do not belong.
Since you have the possibilty to homeoffice - it is up to you.
Office is also good. And ones again thanks to the WorksCouncil for their support.
monthly town hall meetings with monthly stats and plans are nice.
But sometimes they seem to be more show than have a benefit.
Overall the communication improved in the last years
I think that never was a problem
I have the possibility to organize my work with great autonomy.
Employers value job diversity, what you learn on the job, and the feeling of being in control of your work
Employers are required to pay wages and related allowances (regardless of whether work can be carried out from home) during the restraining order, in addition to transport allowances and attendance allowances. Employers cannot compel employees to deduct paid annual leave, or replace it with unpaid leave.
Older employees are experienced and senior, but there is an occasional generation gap
gaming industry is always competition, and I always had perspective to strive forward, also its more important what you can do instead of whats on the paper in your cv. the team spirit is also a key for me to stay.
polish public image, pay market prices, update hardware for the people, plan in more resource buffer to overcome future productionplans
individual resignments are keeping the deadlines tough, but there is wind of change
image polishing is needed to showcase that there is wind of change. the people are all working so hard to fight for sucess, while knowing there is no shortcut for it.
remote work is enhancing the work-life balance a lot, people can arrange their private live around the work and are way more flexible.
started as a student back in the past and now i am middle management, I can´t complain.
market standard is possible, but hard to get
for example Farmerama's donations and campaigns have funded 12 water projects.
all okay so far, demanding goals outside of the comfortzone is pushing to the overall okr and also supports individual progression in the selected profession.
technical equipement is old, people are in need of newer hardware.
has been recently increased due to more transparency of the upper management
through the matrix change in the company there are a lot of new oppurtunities.
This is a joke question right?
No point adding anything here as they have proven time and time again they do not listen to their employees anyway.
All time low for the last 6-12 months as the Chinese upper management drive the company to the ground watching employees jumping ship left right and center.
Poor image due to non-competitive conditions for employees and poor image for remaining players as they are pushed for every last cent.
Games are also very old so not appealing to new players
100% remote possibility is the only thing that has made the last months bearable allowing for a decent balance here.
no budget for this
Due to the lack of transparency and strange blame culture that comes from upper management the only colleague cohesion left is to shake our heads together at the latest management decisions and plans. Otherwise there is a 'oh my god we are so lucky to still have a job here' feeling coming from above.
No 0 star available for this one unfortunately. A lets do everything at once attitude with every day reducing resources, no proper prioritization, telling each department something different, no transparency, this list could go on forever.
In summary though it appears to be a culture clash going on here, upper management expect us to behave the same as a Chinese employee with no understanding of how things work here and what a European employee expects from their superiors. It feels like a management style from 20 or 30 years ago, scaring their employees into submission and being offended if you were to ask why or point out something does not make sense. It also doesn't help they are all located in Shanghai.
For the past 12 months upper management have been removing as much transparency as they can. The few times they do make an effort the information is so far from reality you wonder which company they are managing.
Low salaries for most employees, yearly bonuses reduced to 0 and no possibility for raises unless tied to impossible to achieve bonuses
Tasks used to be great here - now it's do what your told and don't ask any questions. 90% of ones tasks are waste of time tasks.
So verdient kununu Geld.
