Der ganze Prozess verlief sehr angenehm, zügig und offen. Eine Einladung zu einem Interview via Teams kam recht schnell, nachdem ich die Bewerbung abgeschickt hatte. Eine notwendige Terminverschiebung verlief schnell und problemlos.
Das Gespräch an sich war sehr nett, offen und wertschätzend. Ich habe mich sehr wohlgefühlt.

Es wäre schön, wenn auch Menschen, die vielleicht nicht in die übliche Norm passen, eine Chance bekommen. Das hätte mich sehr gefreut.

Zwei sehr unterschiedliche Gespräche. Sehr positive Atmosphäre im ersten Gespräch, freundlicher offener Austausch mit einem sehr sympathischen Ansprechpartner. Im Zweitgespräch per Video komplett anderes Feeling, Interview mit drei Personen, kühles und distanziertes Gefühl im Gespräch, hatte eher etwas von einem Verhör als einem echten Dialog. Die Art der Fragen und wie sie gestellt wurden wirkten oftmals eher wie ein Angriff. Es wurde oft erwähnt "sie können ja X oder Y nicht" - Ja, das steht aber auch so im CV, warum werde ich dann eingeladen?
Nach dem Gespräch wurde mir Feedback innerhalb einiger Tage zugesichert, im Endeffekt dauerte es mehr als zwei Wochen. Die Absage kam dann per Standard-Mail - etwas stillos wie ich finde, nachdem man zweimal miteinander gesprochen hat und sich auch Face-to-Face gesehen hat.
Dass es nicht passt kann immer mal passieren - ich hätte mir nur einen etwas wertschätzenderen Umgang gewünscht.

I was interviewed for a job at Brainlab company Snke OS.
After application first interview was arranged promptly. It was half an hour interview.
They ask me following questions.
- Introduce your self.
- what do you know about the company
- Couple of technical questions
-- Overall good interview experience. It was a bit hard to understand the interviewer.

Shortly a second interview was arranged. It was 1 and half hour long. Person from HR and a technical/Management person was present.
Interview was divided in two parts HR and technical.
First Part was HR and second was Technical.
- They ask me tell me about your self.
- Which qualities you would like to see in your Supervisor.
- what does Snke OS do.
- Expected Salary.
- Expected Joining date.

Technical part:
- Live Code Hacker rank: Decimals numbers are saved in a linked list. write a function to add
numbers saved as linked list
- A code was shown. And I was asked what does the code do? It was a bubble sort code
- C++ code was show. And I was asked to point out the mistakes

No feedback was provided why my application is not considered. I have just received a standard not selected email.
I have invested on the whole process. I have expected a personalized mail and proper feedback.

If an application is not selected. Please share complete reason instead of sharing generic reason.

I applied for C++ Software development job at Brainlab.
They immediately review my profile (some employees of brainlab also visited my linkedin profile) and sent me a hackerrank online challenge.

The hackerrank challenge was quite doable and fun. It lasted for about 40 mins. As most of my test case passed I got a reply from them saying they would like to interview me on this day (it was some thursday) at 11 am. Without even asking me if I was available or would like to reschedule. They just booked a date upfront without consulting me. Not all of them who are applying are unemployed and Brainlab should really consider other people's time limits or inconvenience.

I asked them to reschedule and told them I have office too to go to. They gave me few options and we came to a conclusive date (it was again a weekday at 9 am).
Just the day before the interview I got an email saying that the interview is cancelled because they found someone but they do have another job opening for me at Snke OS. I said yes sure. I will pick up another date another job opening and another hackerrank challenge. Which too I passed all the test cases but 3. and they rejected me.

It would be nice to have a feedback on the day of the interview itself. Otherwise, an excellent process alltogether.

El proceso ha sido muy claro y el tiempo que ha pasado entre cada fase ha sido muy aceptable. Se me informó que podrían pasar entre una y dos semanas entre una fase del proceso y la otra, y en cambio al siguiente día de tener la entrevista inicial ya se me propuso una fecha para la siguiente entrevista.

Un posible punto a mejorar sería que se enviaran una explicación general de lo que se espera de cada fase del proceso de selección para que el candidato se pueda preparar adecuadamente.

The interview procedure is very professional and respectful. But the reason behind the rejection is so vague. It would be great if contact persons could give applicants constructive feedback. It can help entry-level interested applicants know to work on their weaknesses and have a better chance in future possible positions.
