Coffee was the highlight – everything else felt dysfunctional, chaotic, and like a nightmare in my experience.
In my experience, everything felt toxic, chaotic, highly micromanaged, and dysfunctional, with little support or guidance. The environment seemed fear-driven, unfair, and unsustainable, creating conditions that made burnout almost inevitable.
Everything that can go wrong, went wrong. I would suggest hiring leaders who actually lead, teaching them empathy, and ensuring they respect the time and energy that employees invest in their work to progress professionally. It often felt that leadership played with people’s careers rather than supporting their development, and the pace set seemed unrealistic for any human to sustain.
The work environment was extremely high-pressure, with intense micromanagement. Significant responsibilities were assigned from day one, often without proper onboarding or preparation. Tasks and decisions were closely monitored, leaving little room for independent judgment.
Strategic guidance and clear communication were often lacking, making priorities unclear. Recognition was limited, and the constant pressure made the environment demanding. Overall, the culture emphasized control over empowerment, contributing to a toxic work atmosphere and making it difficult to sustain motivation or a healthy work-life balance.
Externally, the company may appear dynamic and innovative, but internally the reality is different. The high-pressure environment, lack of support, and inconsistent leadership contrast sharply with the positive image presented publicly.
Official working hours were from 9 AM to 6 PM, with the option to stay extra hours if needed, though it was not mandatory. I often felt that during regular hours, the focus was on extracting well beyond what could reasonably be expected from one person—essentially demanding double human capacity. The workload and intensity made it difficult to maintain the energy needed to recover over the weekend. While overtime was technically optional, the pace and expectations during standard hours created a highly stressful environment, making it nearly impossible to sustain a healthy work-life balance.
While the salary reflected the role’s responsibilities, the high workload and intensity of the environment often felt disproportionate to the rewards and recognition offered.
There was little visible focus on environmental or social responsibility. The company appeared to prioritize short-term results and internal performance over sustainability, ethical practices, or community engagement.
The sense of team spirit was virtually nonexistent, and leadership was unable to foster or manage it due to a lack of emotional intelligence, confidence, maturity, empathy, and availability to lead. Most interactions were driven by self-interest rather than collaboration, and genuine support between colleagues was rare. Competitive and personal agendas dominated the workplace, creating a challenging environment where building trust or meaningful professional relationships was extremely difficult. Some team members contributed to this stress through constant pressure, unrealistic demands, and unconstructive behaviors.
I observed that there were no older or more experienced colleagues, which seems to reflect the company culture. The high-stress environment felt intense and, in my view, would be difficult to sustain for employees with families or long-term professionals.
I found the leadership to be profoundly ineffective. I experienced little to no guidance, support, or inspiration, while being constantly pushed to exceed reasonable limits. Communication was highly top-down, where one dominant voice set the direction and others were expected to follow immediately. This created a high-pressure environment where I often felt that expressing concerns or alternative perspectives was difficult, and open dialogue was rarely possible. Information was unclear, priorities shifted rapidly, and feedback was not always acknowledged or valued. Achievements were seldom recognized; instead, success often resulted in additional workload, reinforcing a fear-driven environment.
Decision-making was chaotic and top-down, changing frequently without clear rationale, and strategic guidance was minimal. I observed very limited confidence, consistency, or empathy from leadership, creating a culture where conformity was rewarded over independent thought. Overall, the leadership style was unsupportive and demotivating, providing minimal guidance, empowerment, or strategic direction.
I found the working conditions to be highly demanding and intense. It was expected that I operate at maximum capacity throughout the day. The high-pressure environment made it difficult to find time for recovery or balance. Resources and infrastructure often seemed insufficient to meet the workload, and the overall atmosphere reinforced stress and urgency rather than efficiency or sustainability.
Communication was consistently poor and often dysfunctional. I frequently felt that speaking up or sharing concerns was unsafe, and I observed that leadership often acted in ways that discouraged feedback rather than supported it. Information was scattered, priorities were unclear, and my input was not always acknowledged or considered. This created a high-pressure environment where open and honest communication was effectively not an option.
I experienced fairness and equal treatment as largely lacking. I found that advancement and recognition often seemed to depend on conformity or personal connections rather than merit, creating an environment where favoritism prevailed and genuine equality was difficult to achieve.
I often experienced tasks as high-pressure and demanding, with little support or guidance provided. While the workload was significant, I found that opportunities for meaningful learning, skill development, or strategic involvement were limited. The focus seemed to be on immediate results rather than thoughtful problem-solving or professional growth, which made it challenging for me to engage with the work in a motivating or constructive way.
What I like about my employer is the positive atmosphere, the supportive team, and the genuine respect for people.
The team is polite, warm, and genuinely positive. It creates a comfortable environment where it’s easy to collaborate and feel supported
The company shows real consideration for work–life balance, allowing flexibility and understanding when needed, from sick leave to home-office days
More than just their value, it’s something you feel on a daily basis through how supportive everyone is of individual achievements.
Management is approachable and supportive, encouraging dialogue and providing guidance without micromanaging
Communication is clear and respectful, with an open approach that makes it easy to ask questions and align on priorities
The tasks are engaging and varied, offering opportunities to learn, take responsibility, and grow professionally
Neuste Macbooks, modernes Office in zentraler Lage.
Tolle After works und Unternehmensfeiern.
Habe nichts negatives anzumerken. Arbeite für die Firma 4 Jahre (seit 2019)
Ich komme gerne in das Office. Tolle Mitarbeiter!
Transparente Kommunikation über Ziele der Firma
Umweltbewusstsein ist hier definitiv keine Priorität
So verdient kununu Geld.
