The tech experts (colleagues), Flexibility in choosing your work time, great topics to work on, fully remote work allowed

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Leadership is not or seems not to be strong enough towards outside.
Agile with waterfall all around doesn't work.Waterfall needs to be killed.
Slow improvements in processes, tools etc.
less focus on innovation and more on firefighting of existing, legacy projects
No same salary for same job functions
No performance based bonus
The assignment to salary levels is totally flawed as explained in the salary section.

Verbesserungsvorschläge

Be fully agile. Train new leadership in Agile and SAFe from some top notch agile experts/trainers who have advised a company having same complexity level like an automotive company. Usual agile coaches don't have experience to tackle that complexity level to guide effectively.

Stop interference of brands. Stand up and work on basis of original vision of CARIAD. Ask brands to kill the counter-part departments that are handed over to CARIAD. otherwise, the brand colleagues sitting there will be keep on interfering to drive CARIAD as per their wisdom. Erect barriers and don't expose your staff to be pushed by those who didn't move to CARIAD and now have to do something to justify their jobs back in brands. Why at all same roles exist now in brands that have been moved to CARIAD responsiblity?

put wheels under your processes and simplify.
Improve communication,transparency and requirements flow.
Ask brands to align on single set of requirements before bringing the wish-list to your table.

No equal salary for same work/title
lack of transparency on equality between CARIAD natives and colleagues moving from brands to CARIAD. Seems CARIAD natives are at disadvantage but could be other way around as well in some cases . As said no transparency here.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

you can earn more if you were able to negotiate more at the start. Totally flawed competency level (salary) assignment system. You are assigned to the level that matches the salary you could negotiate and not based on your years of experience and skill level. It is all a game of luck . One can get more with less skills and years of experience in a favourable situation/circumstance. Salary info is coming out from here and there and may result in sense of being manipulated in comparison to other colleagues in different departments. Needs immediate correction by HR.

Performance based bonus doesn't exist but rather a single figure that everyone gets at your level. No stock options/sign in bonus similar to likes of US tech firms.
