We can’t compete with the salaries of large corporations or heavily funded scale-ups. Joining a company of our size is a conscious choice, one you make for the freedom, flexibility and peace of mind that come with it. Classic career levels are also naturally limited at our size.

I genuinely love working here. There’s a real fire in this team, we work at a high pace, with a lot of drive, and everyone is pulling in the same direction towards a shared goal. At the same time, the atmosphere is open and appreciative: we dare to try new things, and when something doesn’t work out, we learn from it together instead of looking for someone to blame. I feel seen as a person here, not just as a workforce.
Work-Life-Balance
There’s no rigid 9-to-5 model here, but real flexibility and a lot of trust. You can organise your work around your life. Most important for me: when I close my laptop, I have peace of mind and no knot in my stomach. That’s (sadly) pretty rare and for me it’s priceless because it has a positive impact on my life and ensures that I don't just live for the weekend, but have a good time from Monday through Sunday

I feel very supported in my development. Realistically, we’re not a large company, so there are natural limits when it comes to classic career levels. But anyone who wants to grow is supported at any time, not only upwards, but also sideways into other areas.

Regarding my direct manager: I’m given a lot of trust, responsibility and room to make my own decisions. We meet at eye level, I can openly share my opinion and we can also have difficult conversations. I feel seen as a person and supported in my development.
Looking at our management more broadly, I’d say it’s generally strong, but there’s always room to improve (communication, setting expectations, giving feedback etc.), as we’re all constantly growing, both as individuals and as a company.
Arbeitsbedingungen
We have a lot of flexibility in how we organise our work, and things move fast, decisions are made quickly, which makes it easy to get things done. We value being together in person and encourage our teams to come to the office regularly, because that’s where a lot of our energy and collaboration comes from. There’s still room for improvement when it comes to the office itself, but we’re aware of it: an office makeover is already planned to make it a place where people enjoy spending time together even more.
Kommunikation
Communication is open and direct, you can raise any topic at any time. Where we had room for improvement was in clearly communicating expectations and giving regular feedback. We’ve introduced a Performance & Expectations Framework to address exactly that and we hold ourselves accountable as a company to communicate more clearly and consistently.

But for me, compensation is more than just the number on the payslip. The salary, combined with a high degree of freedom, flexibility and trust, and the peace of mind of switching off at the end of the day, adds up to a very good and appreciative overall package. Everyone has to decide for themselves what matters most to them, but for me this combination is hard to beat.

Salaries and promotion opportunities are gender-independent – women don’t earn less than men and have the same development opportunities. We hire based on qualifications. The share of women and diverse people on the team still has room to grow; we’re aware of this and would like to increase it. We have flat hierarchies, short decision-making paths and everyone interacts at eye level.

The work is varied and diverse. We’re working on a product that’s constantly evolving, which keeps bringing up new topics. Nobody is held back: if you want to take on responsibility, improve processes or take ownership of a topic, you’ll get the space to do so.
