Good working conditions overall, fantastic workplace team, decent benefits, very nice office location
Communication problems together with regular layoffs are reducing trust, transparency, and employee motivation over time.
Company should be more careful when choosing people managers. Not everybody with strong technical skills is ready for managing people. You need to help them reskill. It would also be useful to have regular feedback process to identify gaps and provide them training, or move people back into technical role if this fit better.
Atmosphere with colleagues still good, but because communication often not clear, it makes more difficult for me to trust management and leadership.
Still quite good
It depends also on employee. If you can keep good boundaries, work-life balance can be okay, but maybe your career growth is becoming slower because of this.
There are many learning resources available, but not enough dedicated time for using them. Career framework very detailed, but managers often have little time to discuss development plans or are not listening to understand how employees want to grow.
Slightly above market average with good benefits on top.
Company speaks a good bit about sustainability and there are some good initiatives. But at the same time it working with many customers from oil and gas industry and similar sector. Because sustainability is one of main company values, this can sometimes seem inconsistent.
Usually very good and open collaboration.
Not that many older colleagues, but no issues
Communication about important topics is often missing. Also, some managers look like they were promoted because of strong technical knowledge, but managing people needs different skills, such as listening. Sometimes they continue focusing mainly on technical work and do not spend enough attention on people in the team. It also difficult because no anonymous way to give feedback about individual managers, so such problems are not easy to identify and remain not noticed.
Priorities are changing many times and direction is not always clear. Also, restructuring and layoffs happen quite often without proper communication or good explanation. Company has regular all-hands meetings, which is positive, but many important concerns from employees are still not really answered.
High priority and generally very good.
Highly complex and interesting technical environment with many interesting challenges
Work Life Balance ist quasi nicht vorhanden.
Sozialbewusstsein ist also weniger vorhanden.
Micromanagement, Mobbing, Anbrüllen in Zoom Calls, demotivieren in 1:1s, Falschaussagen in Jahresfeedbacks.
Zweiklassengesellschaft in 2 Münchener Gebäuden.
Tiptop
Durchaus….
Offen, modern, flexibel, locker, herzlich. Man fühlt sich ab Tag 1 wohl.
Sehr gut.
Friday evening beer
Height adjustable tables
Celonis Parties
Toxic environment
Improve Career development
Improve work/life balance
Reduce Plastic/paper waste in the office
More benedeit regarding working hours or more days off
Working at Celonis is challenging and you won’t get rewarded for your hard work
Outbound image is good
A lot of work and you have to work a way longer than 40 hours to hit your targets
No opportunities
Less payment and more hours to work
Lots of plastic and paper waste
In my team is was very good but a lot of “talking behind you back”
Most people who work at Celonis are between 20-30/35
No leading experience and then a manager change. The new manager kicked everyone out which didn’t suit in the right box
Communication only outbound.
Really diverse topics to work for which was super nice
Don't blindly trust what Celonis offers you, only what's in your contract will actually happen. Going abroad or learning in different teams, while being flexible to what you want sounds good - but apparently doesn't work in a realistic economic phase.
They shouldn't offer a traineeship if they don't have a plan of how to realize it or are willing enough to make it happen.
Anyone who heard of Celonis has usually higher expectations and a wonderful image.
The good part: it's entirely up to you. You can keep a good balance if you work effectively. But there is no one who will keep you from working weekends if you feel like it.
They're still in the process of defining a clear guideline and career steps with a respective requirements.
Compared to most other software companies in Munich, Celonis is playing in the upper league.
They tell us that climate and environment counts, require people to watch some video course. I haven't seen any strategic plan of how to improve the situation.
The selling point: the optimisation for our customers save way more CO2 emissions and help environment than any efforts in our office or changes of transport.
Communication and collaboration with my colleges is the best part! Everyone is happy to help you at the start or share their knowledge.
The oldest colleges I work with are in their 40s. They get the same adequate education and career development as everyone else. But older ones, I haven't seen so far.
Most team leads are good role models. Thanks to a knew initiative they also get more education to improve.
In Munich office, engineering department is usually kept in worse conditions than the rest (broken heating, missing air conditioning in the summer, bad monitor situation or missing noise reduction) if you're in another department, situation is top level.
Great from team lead side - they usually keep you in the loop and filter spam.
From upper management - certain changes are a bit sudden with sometimes missing plans (e.g. learning budget was cut with no direct replacement. Instead they slowly started to evaluate a replacement, which took about 4 months.)
I see woman processing the same as men. They're also represented on all levels. But my insight into in this area is quite limited.
Depends - if you get into the team you interviewed for, then definitely yes. If you were randomly selected in your 'trainee program' with no choice of switching, it's a bit boring.
The collaborative work environment, the social events, the Academy offerings, the state of the art process mining capabilities
Nothing - I would definitely consider coming back again :)
As Interns and Working Students we wished some of the employee benefits also applied to us, such as meal vouchers, gympass, metro ticket etc.
Also, I would have appreciated some more frequent feedback talks and goal-setting.
The colleagues I encountered during my intern time were always very friendly and helpful and treated me as part of the team which contributed greatly to the good working atmosphere.
for me, working times were always balanced, when I had a longer day I could easily make up for it on another day and I appreciated that I was free in determining my working hours freely.
Celonis makes sustainability one of their values and creates high awareness and offers education opportunities as well as three "impact days" for sustainability and social causes. As far as I could tell they also drove the sustainability topic within the organisation.
During my onboarding and also during the internship I had a lot of opportunities to do trainings via the Celonis Academy, as well as Degreed courses.
I was in the munich office which had everything on offer that I could need: modern laptops and working desks, enough space for everyone, drinks and snacks, and "social areas"
I felt communication on all levels was always clear and frequent.
As an intern the pay was similar or better than what I was offered at different firms, however some additional benefits would have been a plus
Due to the nature of my role it was difficult to take over some of the "normal" tasks (a lot of customer meetings, workshops etc) and thus, I did a lot of tasks that did not necessarily correlate to the job itself but were more of an organizing nature.
I would have enjoyed it if I could have taken over more of these "normal" tasks or to support a specific customer project or journey, however I still got a good picture of what the job entails.
So verdient kununu Geld.
