Arbeitsatmosphäre

The only good about censhare, I would say are the people. You are in an environment with friendly and smart people.

Kommunikation

The is absolutely no communication within the Ui/Ux team. We had no direction from senior project. Worked and reworked on concepts continuously as there was no clarity of strategy.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

Working with different development teams gives you an opportunity to understand different technologies and interact with colleagues. But within the Ui/Ux team there was no 'Team spirit'. Over the course of 1 year we had 4 designers who quit and only 1 new designer who joined us. Out of a team of 6.

Work-Life-Balance

With no direction and no assigned tasks with the Ui/Ux team. There was really not much work to be done. Being motivated and trying to push things forward and trying to innovate is barely recognised.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

The Design lead had an old school strategy on building up a team and focussed only on Ux. There is no brainstorming sessions and if you did have a point of view it usually turned into a conflict.

Interessante Aufgaben

Almost close to none. And to be a creative to feel like you are not contributing, learning or growing is very disappointing and makes one feel trapped.

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

We see the Design world changing at such a fast pace. With concepts like design thinking and design research becoming valuable and vital to every product. But at censhare design is still not valued and within the Ui/Ux team outdated applications are still preferred. And there is close to no openness to try newer more officiate ways to work.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

If you are looking for a comfortable place where not much gets done with the design team. Where there is no learning or growth - This might be the workplace for you. There is only one designer left on the team as of the end of this month. That speaks for itself.

Dear former colleague,

we are sorry to hear that your experience with censhare was not a good one.

There are several aspects you mention, so let us come back to two things: we are about to push our UX and UI strategy to a next level and we all know from our own experiences that those changes don’t happen overnight – especially when you work on such a complex and difficult-to-standardize software as our censhare Omnichannel Content Platform with many different features and approaches for the individual client’s project. The more we are surprised that you describe the tasks as less interesting and above all not sufficiently much. We can remember very well that the discussions with the UX team often revolved around the variety of tasks, especially the prioritization, since the challenges are plenty and also required frequent coordination on the technical feasibility of ideas.
The happier we are to have recruited a very skilled and ambitious new Head of UX & Design and additional team members who will join censhare pretty soon. It is our goal to develop a more user-centric approach to our software development processes and thanks to many new initiatives, also coming from our Product Management Team, we consider ourselves to be on a good way. Although we know that there is still much to learn. However, learning is a give-and-take-process for both sides.
