Good salary. Some great benefits like unlimited free language courses (Babbel), mobility budget, Work from anywhere for 60 (working days) a year. - This is also getting used by employees. They do actually practice what they preach which is fantastic.
fantastic. great team and environment
Very high images at clients and partners. Every client I have visited so far loves the product and people they are dealing with
you get to mostly choose your own hours as long as the work is done. Of course when there are deadlines / presentations you might need to work a bit longer but can balance this yourself
We have a 1000 Euro / year educational (Weiterbildungsbudget) which can be used at your own choice.
salary and social contributions are good. but of course here they could develop a bit.
great. every one is always happy to help
We do have quiet some older and very experienced people which is great. I do not see any difference how they get treated compared to the younger ones. Everyone should be happy and excited to learn from them.
For me this is great. He is really open and easy to communicate with and very motivating. Not sure about the other departments but all executives seem pretty nice.
most people work remotely but there are several meetings a year where everyone gets together which is great.
also good, a bit difficult sometimes as most employees are working remotely.
Given that we are a IT company we have quite a few women in different functions from HR, Sales, Accounting, Project Management. The CEO is also female. I see here no difference between men and women.
very varied tasks and projects. No client is the same. I love this about the job.
Was man an Hardware brauchte, bekam man auch.
Nothing, seriously. They treat their employees as they are replaceable, turns out the company found out it is harder than expected to attract new talents for a broken ship in the middle of the ocean.
The managers, the decisions made in the last two years, the company strategy to dismiss people and make them gone in one day without they saying bye to their colleagues, looks like they did terrible things, but no, they were just dismissed because of cut of costs.
There's an old saying "You are selling your lunch to buy dinner" this would apply for all bad decisions the higher management did so far. Trying to lower costs at all costs but in a not smart way.
No fairness or truth, people usually talk behind your back. Motivation is gone long time ago as the management keep commiting silly mistakes and taking wrong decisions.
Some good image among old clients but most of people don't recognize the name of company.
There are flexible hours and work life balance it's not the worst from this company, but definitely the top down decisions that are made cause huge impact on your planned work and may cause some extra hours of work. By the way, most of those decisions are abrupt and proven to be a failure after some time, then when someone asks who this idea was, no one answers it.
It's a joke, the company always says they are short of money to invest on their employees, so don't expect to have a budget for books, courses, trainings, etc. But this can be different for those who know who to cheer and to ask, I stayed for two years and never got a penny for any book or training I asked at the same time I know people who were still on probation time with less than 2 months who got full payed conferences… so try our lucky :)
Not the best, not the worst. It all depends on how good you sell yourself during the interview. There's almost zero career plan, so don't expect to grow inside, you will be in your position and salary till your last day.
Not at all, there's is no recycle bins, lights are usually left on,
There are a few colleagues who you can trust and work collaborative, besides this small group each one is trying to shine by himself and try to take his fame.
Very critical, they are too proud of the Old and golden times and doesn't accept changes or arguments, either you go with the old employee's suggestion or you don't do nothing and keep as it is. Also lot's of older colleagues were fired or quitted due to the company's new strategy.
Micro managing happens in some departments, some managers are not trustable at all as their decisions are made by his own and not for the good of the company. Some very bad managers are still working at Censhare without proof of their work, they just know who to please and to "show some work".
Old and broken furniture. I worked on a broken desktop table for 2 years, my chair was old and very uncomfortable and I could only change it because my ex-colleague who had a better chair was fired. Software wise they use old macbooks that all developers complain that overheat and freeze.
There isn't any communication at all, too many communication channels but no one read them, all employees are taken by surprise with abrupt decisions by the higher management.
The salary you get is how much you negotiated and how good you sell yourself during the hiring process. Mobility inside censhare doesn't exist at all, you start with X as a salary, you will end 5 years later getting X, even if your tasks are more challenging or you grew as a professional (for the market, not to censhare who doesn't value personal grow)
Very uninteresting tasks, most of my time was just to recreate something that already existing changing very small details, they are too proud of their product was in the past to risk to explore and be better for the future, they rely on old product decisions.
Good work life balance for some teams.
Very low support on technology colleagues.
Address the capacity issues of multiple teams in IT and development rather than always pouring money to sales people. Last time I checked, this is still a technologie company, no?
No motivation at all. Awkward every meeting.
No trainings last year. Promises made this year but no actual trainings given yet.
Pay is very low compared to other technology companies in Munich. There is NO benefits at all except discounted gympass account.
Nothing good, nothing bad.
They are trying but it is surprising that team leads and management are working on tasks which are for engineers and architects.
Great that we are working from home.
The management tries but you know, acknowleging problems is not enough. You need to solve them also.
Almost no women here in technology. In IT services none at all.
Nothing
They destroy the happiness and moral of employees by treating them like "objects".
Employees are not asked for any decision that happens in the company. They just have to accept anything what management decides.
As long you are quiet and work (unpaid) overtime you are good.
Stop pretending that everything is good, it's not.
IT desperately needs managers & team leads with experience in the field as leader. Give the current Team Leads also some Trainings or Leadership Workshops..
Unfortunately, HR cannot take off the rose-colored glasses or is not willing to accept that IT needs drastic changes
No one is really happy anymore here, everyone is hiding and keeping a low profile
From outside the company looks fresh and cool, but once you are inside you feel the rotten hearth
Not at all, nothing what benefits yourself no chances to make some certificates.
Very low salary's compared to other company's in Munich. Also they are NO benefits at all.
Norhing really whats worth mentioning
There are not many left. Most old employees got kicked out in corona time
They don't listen, they don't act, only what counts is saving money and cheap employees
Really cheap and old furniture
Is getting worse and worse.
Not really a thing, some managers think they are god and doesn't share knowledge because they are scared to be replaced. Sad place
The development department urgently needs a breath of fresh air. Change has to happen from top to bottom and not the other way around. Real management cannot be learned self-taught, but only by listening and taking feedback seriously.
exhausting
damaged
easy going, but still unhealthy
no priority
ok
mistrusting
ok
archaic
uncontrolled
one-sided
not for the executer
Used to be a great place to work with fantastic and competent colleagues and an interesting, challenging product. Not sure, if there is enough left of this to revive it. Right now it feels more like a zombie.
All of the above.
Too much talk about leadership and values, without actually implementing most of it. Massive leadership problems. No real perspective for the future.
Upper management still has a long way to go to rebuild trust. How this could possibly be achieved with the current lack of respect for employees, I don't know.
Most importantly: Start to listen for real and then act on what employees are telling you. They know what the problems are, because they have to deal with them on a daily basis. And don't assume people are stupid, don't assume that they can be deluded with some fluffy marketing talk and fancy metaphors. They can see right through you.
Lack of trust, especially towards upper management. It's full of lies and politics now and many employees have no trust in anything that is being said top-down. Little respect for long-standing employees. People who have given many years of their life to the company are being fired from one day to the next, without even considering other solutions to all the self-inflicted problems.
Getting worse and worse .
It's ok, if you look after yourself. If people work to exploit themselves, they are appreciated and promoted more. So, if you want to get ahead in here, it's best to ignore your responsibilities outside the company, such as family, or offload them to your partner, keep the head down and focus on technical stuff only.
Not comparable at all to other software companies in Munich. There is hardly any individual support for what people want to learn, unless you push for it. Even then, you might get a few hundred €s where other companies provide a few thousand € p.a. for things like external training, conferences etc.
In terms of career progress, your best bet is to not criticize or try improve anything on the organisational level, but instead join the self-congratulatory choir of censhare fanboys (and girls).
Generaly below market conditions and very uneven distribution. How much you get and what depends highly on your personal negotiation skills and likability.
Huge potential for improvement here. Some small measures, such as electricity from renewables, but for instance there is no structured plan to reduce the carbon footprint, as one would expect in this day and age.
It's still ok, but gradually being undermined by the overall atmosphere. Many experienced and competent veterans have left voluntarily or are being fired, which negatively affects the overall composition of the teams.
Personally, I haven't observed any issues here in day-to-day work. But when it comes to firing people, there doesn't seem to be a social plan or, if there is one, it's kept secret.
Used to be good, but has taken quite a hit in the last two years. A lot of new people have been brought in, who don't understand the special spirit (which doesn't really exist anymore anyways). Some people think they can apply their US corporate nonsense style, which leads to a lot of alienation. Other, more long-standing leaders have given up on trying to prevent this deplorable development.
Office location is pretty bad and hard to reach by public transport. Furniture far away from modern standards. Ping pong table is nice.
Top-down mostly and impossible to have faith in many things that are being communicated. A lot is being discussed behind closed doors in a very intransparent manner.
No discrimination against anyone. But respect for people with outside responsibilities could be better.
Some tasks are ok and could be interesting, but the prospects aren't great in general. Many people have doubts, if the transition to the new architecture will work out in the end.
Kaum vorhanden, v.a. nicht beim Management.
Hört auf Euch schönzureden, dass New Work gleich Home Office bedeutet.
Wenig Sichtbarkeit, Image Kampagnen Fehlanzeige
Flexibility with regards to work hours and individual arrangements. Some great people to work with and very good collaboration on the peer-to-peer level. Technically challenging and interesting. Often its still fun to work here - when you are able to ignore all the stuff that is going on at the management level.
Trust and mutual respect are lacking very much at the moment. Employees are talked to, but not listened to. No transparent accountability is created for improvements. Very bad office location (Munich HQ).
Try and get some stability at the leadership and management level. Constantly changing people and strategies is not going to help us. Show more appreciation for the people that are still there, instead of irritating them with pointless discussions about home office regulations - otherwise even more will leave. Be more transparent instead of trying to hide what's really going on.
Amongst peers it's still ok, but there is a lot of distrust between employees and management. And it's getting worse and worse.
The constant changes at the leadership level are irritiating, not only for the employees, but also for partners and customers. The future appears rather uncertain.
Mostly ok. Non-work responsibilities are usually respected. Some people have a tendency towards self-exploitation, but that's their fault.
Barely any budget for training and education, other than internal things. No strucural efforts to have individual training and development programmes.
Average salaries, some benefits, nothing special.
A few separate measures, such as renewable electricity, but no structural efforts to be more environmentally friendly. Climate change is largely ignored, no social consciousness. This topic simply has no priority for the leaders and owners.
Still the best thing about this company is the cooperation with my peers. They are open and competent, with very few political battles
Haven't observed any issues here.
Not much in terms of positive feedback or appreciation. Employees are often taken for granted - until they leave. Even then, no effort is made to show employees that the company cares about the remaining ones.
Some good investments in office space, but still no ergonomic furniture. Little support for people working from their home other than allowing it. For a company of this size and industry, the conditions are generally below market average.
Some attempts at being transparent from management side, but a lot is happening behind closed doors. I often feel like we are deliberately kept in the dark about many important develoments.
No problems here. Even though the management level is pre-dominantly male, this might change.
The product itself is interesting and doesn't get boring. The transition to the new tech stack is challenging, but more should be invested in training and education to make sure everyone can keep up.
So verdient kununu Geld.
