CEO and the overall framework. Furthermore, the compensation was more than competitive. Good work Life Balance
I was disappointed by parts of the management and the way personnel were treated during crisis situations. It was a typical American-style layoff. What a pity
Treat employees with respect, just as you would expect in return. You absolutely need to work on your communication. Perhaps Cinemo can turn things around if changes are made at the management level once again.
Economically, Cinemo is no longer a stable employer, which led to a large wave of layoffs. It is a real shame because the CEO is genuinely great, but in my view, he has poor advisors around him and the social plan is bad.Personnel decisions are being made based more on the personal preferences of the decision-makers. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend working there. Perhaps things will change if a few people in leadership positions are replaced.
There were no opportunities in my area and it wasn't actively supported
In times of crisis, true solidarity shows itself – which, except for a few exceptions, unfortunately proves to be just as disappointing
That is what I would rate the lowest here at the company, catastrophic – unfortunately also very unprofessional, and the paid expertise is non-existent or at least only partially there; ChatGPT should be able to easily replace a large part of it
Regarding management—and by that, I mean the top three decision-makers—it is super poor, especially in times of crisis. They prefer to hush everything up rather than bring the employees along
I wouldn't describe it as innovative, at least not in my department
My experience with both the job search and working here has been great. The hiring process was short and fast-paced, with quick results. It's the same on the job—the company's workflows are modern and very open to new technologies and changes. The working hours and location are also extremely flexible, which is incredibly convenient for immigrants who have a lot of family and personal matters to handle.
Work goals and career training could be improved.
The work environment is laid-back and stress-free. Without being micromanaged or pressured, you can stay highly productive in a relaxed atmosphere.
We have flexible working time and location.
The communication with colleagues is very professional and directly.
The team is very international and open to different cultures.
success in the past is no guarantee for the success in the future,
no customer centric culture
still in the transition from a start-up to a growing company
due to corona more silo mentality between the departments
typical owner-managed company:
- top-down approach (no transfer of responsibility and empowerment)
- lack of trust, transparency und commitment
- management/employees get fired or frozen out
open-plan office, quite noisy, no AC - very hot in summer time
management is not working as a team
