Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

HR asked to give feedback on kununu, so here we go: over the last few months almost 20 people resigned, not only from one department, from various teams. no action from the management has been taken, instead we were asked what we wanted, in order to keep us. But the vibes are not very positive in general, so it’s obvious that no one is happy. Goals were set way to high and we’re not adapted. there is no strategy or support on how targets will be achieved. There’s no monetary compensation, instead you get fresh fruits, free booze & monthly office parties...

Get the AC fixed for next summer.

Kommunikation

Lack of communication from the management to the line staff. You’ll find out about the news from colleagues during the lunch or in the washroom.

Work-Life-Balance

You can start and leave whenever you want, nobody cares. Even if you don’t feel like coming to the office, you can “work” from home.

Interessante Aufgaben

Tasks repeat on a daily basis. There is not much variety.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

They introduce us to a career and training model in Jan, but haven’t launched anything until now. Not much opportunity to grow, you’re on the same level as new joiners, who just finished university.

And too sad to hear that you were not happy with your time at COMATCH.

For a chance to proactively change something it would have been helpful to clearly communicate these points during your time at COMATCH. However, we will share and discuss your suggestions for improvement. Please feel free to send us further background information by e-mail (jobs@comatch.com).

We would also like to comment on two points. We were surprised that you had the impression that nothing happened on the career and training perspective. In total we conducted 15 skills training sessions with over 110 participants in 2019. Furthermore, you mention opportunities to grow and complain about being treated equally to a freshman. We strongly believe that we should treat every person’s opinion the same. If you refer to the tasks you were doing, we assume that you might have had a similar type of tasks but on a different level and by the way, within the last year we have promoted 15% of our employees, a number which can always be higher, but still makes us proud.
