Certainly room for improvement
Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich
Homeoffice
Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich
If you simply execute what you’re told and avoid bringing in your own ideas, things will usually be fine. But if you try to contribute proactively or propose improvements, you’re often ignored.
Verbesserungsvorschläge
Please refer to my detailed comments above, they already outline several areas where meaningful improvements could be made (communication, leadership behavior, planning stability, salary transparency, and accessibility of training). In summary, focusing on clearer structures, more consistent communication, and a culture that values employee input would significantly strengthen the company overall.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
The atmosphere is generally okay and largely depended on the team. With direct colleagues, it often feels like we are all in the same boat. However, some managers create a negative mood - frequent criticism and ignoring any ideas not coming from "above".
Image
Externally, the company presents itself as a very modern and “cool” place to work. Unfortunately, that image doesn’t reflect the internal reality.
Work-Life-Balance
The company is fully remote, which can support a healthy work-life balance if you actively set boundaries. However, you need to be very disciplined about not doing overtime or working on weekends. Expectations are often high, and if you try to accommodate every request, you could easily end up doing unpaid extra hours, especially since working time isn’t tracked at all.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
Officially, there is a budget for training and professional development, but accessing it is complicated.
Gehalt/Benefits
Average, leaning slightly below market level. There were no or only minimal raises over several years, and there is no consistent or transparent model for salary development.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
It would be nice to hear about this topic.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
As mentioned earlier, the cooperation within the direct team is good and generally aligned. However, there is relatively little interaction with other departments, which makes cross-team cohesion quite limited.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
This used to be better. In recent times, the owner became increasingly involved in day-to-day matters.
Arbeitsbedingungen
It's homeoffice, so it is as good as you set it up. For me only the basics were provided.
Kommunikation
There is a monthly town hall event, which used to be much better in previous years. Back then, different departments regularly presented updates, and the management shared relevant revenue figures and company insights. Recently, these informative reports were discontinued. Although the company repeatedly communicated that overall performance was “fine,” several key team members were suddenly laid off from one day to the next, which severely undermined trust in the communication culture.
Interessante Aufgaben
It varies a lot. If you don’t mind constantly shifting priorities, the work could certainly feel “interesting,” as topics change week by week depending on the owners preferences. However, this also makes planning difficult, and it sometimes results in unclear specifications or projects changing direction unexpectedly.
