Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Not much, maybe the home office possibilities.

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

So many to list but cannot be written here because they keep fighting to put this review offline (maybe check another famous company review website if you'd like to know):
- The company will attract you and explain their way below average salaries with their concept of helping refugees and the bonus you get every month. Those days are long gone: your salary is below average and the focus is on getting as many students as possible, refugees or not. This company is not an NGO.
- Hierarchies are very strongly present, lack of social skills from directors.
- 4 months+ projects are being canceled at the very last minute because new stakeholders and managers decide to go in another direction, wasting everyone's effort and time
- You will need to hand over a sick note for one day of being sick

Verbesserungsvorschläge

Train or replace the managing directors. The lack of empathy and social skills when talking to them is really not acceptable

Kommunikation

Communication is very bad, especially coming from higher up. They clearly want to show you that they are up there and you down there

Work-Life-Balance

Used to be ok but some new managers joined which made the work-life-balance worse. It is now common for managers to send you messages and requests after 7pm or during the weekends.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

The managing directors are terrible. Not only are their social skills close to 0 but they also let you know that the hierarchy systems are alive and very well.

Interessante Aufgaben

Very repetitive

Arbeitsbedingungen

Many negative aspects which cannot all be mentioned otherwise this review goes offline (again): having to hand over a sick note even for 1 day of being sick, not feeling valued, etc..

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

The company will attract you and explain their below-average salary with their original concept of helping refugees, but it's not an NGO, and their courses are open to everyone, making it de facto a company selling courses like any other.

People & Culture Team

Dear former colleague,

thank you for submitting your personal feedback on your experience at working at the DCI.
As your opinion matters to us we want to take responsibility and address certain points that you mentioned.
We are sorry that you felt misunderstood. As in the DCI, we want to put the people in focus and emphasize the advantages of having a true team spirit.
Especially because of this reason, we would like to offer you a personal chat with someone neutral from the company to go over things and maybe find a way to talk about the issues you presented.
In any case we are glad that you shared your individual impressions as we want to be bold and to talk about criticism so we know where to improve!

Thank you again and feel free to reach out to me

Jovana
