Das Obst und die Getränke.
Die toxische Atmosphäre.
Schaut endlich mal genau hin wer da wo sitzt.
Gehalt.
Toxische Kultur.
Toxische management.
Super toxic culture.
Not transparent, manipulative
A very good support for trying new tech, adopting AI, moving towards better service delivery.
Financials are not looking good.
End of year bonus would be really nice.
positive atmosphere, leaders share their plans, fair treatement
Most of the employees are happy and recommend their friends to work here.
Not much load
Educational budget, conferences, travel cost coverage.
A little bit above market 90 percentile.
smoking not allowed near the building. Area is secured by Wisag all the time.
Colleagues are always there to help and assist.
Everyone respects everyone.
Leads are humble, fair and transparent
Office is air conditioned, desks heights can be adjusted, good kitchen areas.
All hands for the company, all hands for the tribe, many comms over slack.
People from all genders, ethicities and backgrounds are treated fairly.
Cutting edge tech, always trying new things
Pays well and gives good benefits.
Political work requirement. It doesn't matter how great you perform, it matters who likes you. Not seeing you performing well, no, who LIKES you.
Vice Presidents, Senior Directors, and Directors have been on their role without any change for too long. They're the main problem of the company. If you don't change them, the burnout isn't going to get better.
It is extremely political. In my team, the Data Science blames Performance Analysts, Performance Analyst blames Data Analytics, Data Analytics blames Product Management, PMs blame Tech, Tech blames Data Science. Nobody is willing to solve a problem before making sure who must be blamed.
Burnout is extremely common. I had a colleague who took one month of burnout leave. I saw her on 3rd week. The moment the work came up, she lost her patience and bursted into tears.
Payment and benefits are good at the price of your mental health, unless you can play it well.
Usually
Perfect. There are so much redundancy at work. The company can keep its operation with 1/3 of the current employees. So there's not enough work for everyone :)
360 feedback and peakon is revenge time. If you have beef with someone, don't raise it with them directly. Use the bi-annual feedbacks to sting. That's what managers expect and if you don't play the game, you're going to get hurt.
We don't have anyone older than 40s. Usually above 40s are leaving by MSA which is pushed to them. I am not sure if they take it willingly or it is from undue pressure.
Depends on your luck, some are angels and some are hard to tolerate. Mine once read the anonymous 360 feedbacks for me with the name of the person who wrote it.
It destroyed any kind of trust in me. How can I write feedback knowing that managers allow themselves to read them with name?
Depends on the manager, some do and some don't.
Again depends on your luck, if your project is good, then you're having a nice time, otherwise, you're cooked.
Salary and educational budget
Atmosphere, horribly handled contract situation, subtle mobbing from manger
Better communication with employees
Ok
Nothings
Everything. Alll in all their culture and ADN, and therefore you can not change it.
The worst company I have ever worked for (I have been in many tech companies). Selfish BS management.
if you do not do extra hours you will be penalized, that is why I left (weven work on weekends)
Just trying to survive
No words, just terrible.
No one really knows what they are doing. Firefighting and chaos.
NO! A lot of PR, but in reality, no female leaders in tech.
The work was very interesting and I did get to meet some great people. I learned quite a bit even in a short time.
I had the worst experience.
Onboarding was rushed and consisted of a checklist where I was shown how to do something one time. Actual learning relied on the rest of the team choosing to include me in a task or not.
Feedback was shallow and not at all indicative of what they were actually thinking of me.
Asking questions often resulted in feeling like I was being belittled or that I was unintelligent for asking.
Some team members were immature and condescending, and those were the people giving feedback about my performance.
All in all, the team I joined is obviously very immature.
I would advise checking the maturity of the team. DH is known for it's hire and fire culture, but honestly now seeing it from the inside it's due to poor/shallow leadership on teams.
The atmosphere is chaotic and unstructured.
I'll rate it as a 3 because I could see the team was happy together, but I wasn't included in that.
There are very little sources of information to check. Some people come off as very unwelcoming when asking questions. Feedback loops are shallow.
I really enjoyed the work.
The work "culture" is so toxic. Nice slides and some bright colors cannot hide the fact that employees are treated poorly and HR is mainly there to cover it up and let people go.
The overall environment is very pushy. Managers bring the Indian working culture to Germany. There absolutely no communication up just down and everyone is fearful of their manager and this goes all the way to the board. If OKRs are not met or similar the team get's fired. Simple as that.
Work is quite flexible but sometimes can be exhausting with extra hours, but on other days there is little to do.
Promotions are very hard to get and consist mainly of praising managers how great they are and smiling to poor decisions. Most colleagues I am working with realised that and do absolutely nothing because they get nothing in return.
Colleagues stab you in the back for a promotion or to not get in trouble themselves. There is little support or help from anyone unless a manager tells them to.
The only communication is: do it faster and cheaper. There is nothing beyond this.
Salary is decent but not worth the mental stress.
It is mostly just adjusting numbers and configurations. The other thing is you get a screenshot of something, like a competitor, and just make it the same.
So verdient kununu Geld.
