A toxic place whit a lot of hierarchies: there is a system of micromanagement that does treat you like a child that need support. The competence of leads is awkward. If you are ambitious, you will not have many opportunities for career advancement.

There are few nice people, but a lot of gossip and bad competition. Many people think they are really creative, but they are just arrogant and often don't even say hello to you in the morning.

Chaotic and completely non-transparent. You could be dismissed from one day to the next even if your performance is very good.

We're glad to hear that you found the smart working arrangements and the connection with your colleagues to be positive aspects of your time with us. Creating a flexible and supportive work environment is a key priority.

Strong leadership is certainly a topic close to our heart. As the People team we’re providing leadership training and coaching to enable new and experienced leads to craft and develop their skill set. Yet, we’re aware that leading and managing a team is something that needs to be practiced and frequently reassessed. Hence, we appreciate your feedback and are committed to continuously challenging our leads to grow and improve.

We also want to make sure all team members have the opportunity to grow through projects and challenges. Sometimes language skills are a key aspect for delivering great client work. Everybody at DEPT is offered the chance to join our language classes to best enable them to lean into the projects they are excited about. Regardless, we do want to do our best to put people in positions that play to their strengths and let them pursue the career paths they are seeking.
