Great employer with a very nice culture

I worked at Diamant as a data scientist for several years and had a great time. There were interesting tasks to tackle, good teamwork, paid team events, a newly furnished office and even the possibility to attend conferences for educational purposes and to keep up with the latest research for building it into the product. Another plus is the possibility to work in home office, where people usually turned on their cameras and still had virtual coffee breaks together or at least one non-mandatory weekly meeting just for socializing. I also liked that people with detailed technical knowledge about the existing software were available to me as a data scientist and took some time to support in developing AI solutions to improve and extend the software. This made it feel like the company really works together as a team. Overall, a great company that invests in their employees.

I did not always feel involved in decisions and wished that my opinion had been asked more often (but I had the same experience at another software company, so maybe it is normal that management/senior staff makes some decisions without asking for team opinions).
