Maybe if they could speed up the overall selection process, I would not have accepted another offer. From the date I applied, it took almost a month for the call for the 1st interview, and the position were to start in next 1.5 months, which was too long to wait. I would however love to wait for full time opportunities in the future and re-apply after I build some more experience.

The applicatiom process requires a lot of time and effort to fill up their form online, but I honestly think there isn't that much effort on the other side reading and filtering the CV.

In the past months I sent multiple applications that were 100% compatible with each job description and I only received automated rejection emails.

Please read the CVs more carefully, enact meritocracy better and do not hide behind the excuse of too many applicants.

I had the misfortune to deal with selection processes with volkswagen and other controlled ones and the outcome was always the same: poorly motivated rejections.

Einen vernünftigen Recruiting Prozess definieren mit der aktuellen Arbeitsmarkt Lage angemessenen Rückmeldezeiten, zwischen Eingang meiner Bewerbung und letzter Rückmeldung lagen 5 Monate! Für eine simple HR BP Stelle - letztlich war ich froh, denn mit so einem Qualitätsanspruch möchte ich gar nicht arbeiten; hab mich daher selber anders entschieden.

The overall interview process took around 6-8 weeks. Each interview round was well designed.
I was provided with good details of the role I was interviewed for and the interaction was great.
Questions were well answered in each round of interview, which clearly reflected the amazing work culture.

My only suggestion is - please be more responsive during the recruitment process.

No initial call with recruiter. No information about the procees - how many stages, how long it could take, salary range. Communication with recruitment team only through autogenerated emails, like talking to robots.
Technical interview is conducted by external engineers, so you can't even talk to those people who might be your future colleagues and evaluate them. Come on, interview is always two-side process.
Then the next stage was "behaviour" interview with the engineering manager who definitely wasn't trained properly to conduct such talks. Some questions asked could be ok during informal talks, but sounded very rude during formal interview when the candidate is clearly evaluated. And when my point of view didn't meet the beliefs of interviewer I was clearly judged. Very toxic and uninclusive place. Clearly a no-go company.

One aspect that could be improved is the transparency regarding salary information. I only became aware of the compensation details upon receiving the job offer.

Nevertheless, the overall experience was incredibly positive. The recruitment process went exactly as outlined in the initial briefing (meaning: a recruiter interview, a take-home assignment, a meeting with the hiring manager, and a final meet-and-greet with future colleagues). The entire process went fast and smoothly, and the recruiter's periodic check-ins not only made the waiting period less stresful but also fostered a sense of connection to the company even before officially joining. Amazing recruiter and amazing hiring manager.

Originaltext der Autoresponse auf meine Bewerbung von vor vier Wochen:

"Wir bitten Dich um Verständnis dafür, dass wir für eine Rückmeldung bis zu sechs Wochen benötigen, da wir jede Bewerbung sorgfältig prüfen. Wir setzen uns so bald wie möglich mit Dir in Verbindung."

Seit meiner Bewerbung habe ich nie wieder etwas gehört. Was bitteschön dauert sechs (!!!!) Wochen???!!! Jedes Finanzamt ist schneller!

In der Autoresponse wird auch kein Ansprechpartner für Rückfragen o.ä. angegeben. Es könnte ja sein, dass sich jemand melden würde. Das einzige was stört, ist der Bewerber. Unkonventionelle Start-Up Kultur geht anders.
