Dear former employee,
We are very sorry, that you didn’t have a positive experience with Elly und Stoffl. We wish that we had known about the gravity of these issues earlier, so that we could have addressed them.
The salary is always discussed in the initial interview. College or university degrees in a field unrelated to early childhood education unfortunately have no bearing on the salary. This is due to the fact that only qualifications which are recognised by the Bavarian Board of Education receive funding. We do offer all staff the chance to train as early childhood educators and assistants at the expense of the company. Many of our English Learning Guides have taken advantage of this. We offer a number of additional benefits including fitness bonus, capital formation benefits, company pension scheme, professional development opportunities, and much more to improve the work-life-balance of our employees.
All meetings should occur during working hours. The monthly team meetings are counted as overtime hours.
We make a big effort to communicate all information in English and German and have an English Learning Guide Coordinator inhouse, who can be contacted if there are difficulties. We are aware that not all of the paperwork and meetings are in both languages – this is something we are working on.
