Don't hold us for stupid when communicating with us.

Arbeitsatmosphäre

That used to be a great place to work (except for the annoying ego driven Tesla driving management) where you could feel the spirit. Everything was possible, even for the hardest project, everyone was on board helping each other. Parties were great, grilling on the roof top even better.

Beginning on 2021 EY started integrating us into their "family". The "bla bla bla we love you so much" communication from them was a slack in our faces - they basically held us for stupid thinking we will believe it. The "integration" started with firing all the backbone colleagues - almost 40 I think. Then the "integration" was to staff us onto EY projects, which had nothing in common with our etventure company culture - all politics, power games, overthinking even the easiest project. Bottom line: many talented people left. A lot.

Kommunikation

The new management also holds us for stupid - thinking we can not read between the lines.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

Is still there, but not as it used to be. There is this weird atmosphere, where you feel suspicious of what someone else is saying.

Work-Life-Balance

Still there. If you are sick, then you are sick. If you have problems with your child care, people understand it.

I think they do try to shield us from the EY world as much as they can. Thanks for that!

Arbeitsbedingungen

Great office. We used to work with slack, google and macs. Now EY is pushing for windows, teams and SharePoint. That impacts the quality of your work - in a bad way.

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

As germans say it "mehr schein als sein" - we got days of for FFF, because officially we care, but then again people don't have any problem to have a short weekend in Greece (flying obviously) or eat meat.

Used to be an amazing company builder and digital consultancy. Now we are just a subsitudary of EY

Karriere/Weiterbildung

Flat herarchies, so not many. EY offers courses, but they are very standardised.
