Close the company.
Hier stimmt nahezu alles.
Location, focus on specific target group, eagerness to innovate and stay technically at the forefront
Furniture is too old.
Invest more in education of employees.
More user testing for developing products.
People know each other and trust each other and if help is needed support each other. Of course you sometimes have a black sheep in the group but they normally don't stay long.
Most Team leads are very eager to help their people grow and learn although a lot of operational work sometimes hinders them.
Some ratings on kununu exaggerate a bit and things change over time. The company has many alumni that stay connected and visit regularly.
Very flexible in general. Ideally you are two to three days in the office since the culture and connections comes from enjoying time together and stay for happy hours or game nights.
There is always more work that could be done, so you have to set your own boundaries as well.
You can grow if you want. But need to ask actively for trainings and extra stuff.
Normal salary ranges (but negotiations help to get more) Additionally to normal things lunch is subsidised nicely.
As said above. Very good within teams and across except few exceptions here and there.
Extremely fair and supportive.
There are good ones and not so good ones. But in terms of conflicts, there are solved quickly and fairly. Goals are set more arbitrary but if you perform well you will be rewarded with bonus and promotions.
Great office location in the city center with a tower bar. Tech equipment is fast but office furniture needs an upgrade and air-conditioning is a bit weak.
Extremely open communication culture: CEO informs regularly everyone about financial situation and all KPIs can be checked/observed by everyone.
Over the years you meet sometimes people that withhold information but they are unlucky exceptions.
Regular all-hands online don't create much conversation unfortunately.
Very direct feedback culture.
It's a medium sized company where you can get as much responsibility as you want to take. People who are eager to learn and grow can do so quite quickly.
Moving between departments is also possible and happens regularly. Depending on the department there is over time less innovation possible, but especially in product and tech they always try out new things.
Alter macht hier keinen Unterschied
total
bei mir ja
The company is international, opened and has very nice people. Best location in Stachus. Before corona, parties at Experteer were legendary! It´s very nice to have fun with the people you work.
The product needs to catch up a little bit to be more relevant for their customers.
Low hierarchy, managers are accessible, international atmosphere which makes an opened and nice culture!
Like everywhere in life, you can focus on negativity or positivity. I choose to focus on all positives aspects the company has! :)
There are picks of work, as everywhere. Weekends are weekends which I have always highly appreciated.
I can only tell positive things. Many of my colleagues become friends for life. The best thing of Experteer is the people!!
Opened, nice, respectful and always helpful. Work needs to be done, of course but in a nice atmosphere everything is easier.
Low hierarchy helps to good communication.
The main reason why I stayed that long at Experteer: I always got a new project where I had the opportunity to learn and develop myself. There is freedom to pick your projects, that is very nice!

Exchange the Management
Lies everywhere, especially from management.
See Trustpilot, Google Reviews and here.
None for most even though some are being made to head of something within days from a professional. Rather unprofessional.
Juniors are lowballed with the almost bare minimum on Munich, professionals and seniors get the same contract with a compensation of 60k.
None.
It can be ok but in general the behavior of the Management is being reflected by the employees. Anyone who can have a benefit will blackmail another. Credits are not passed on correctly, all the bad feelings between people lead to an environment with no trust.
Same bad for most.
Unprofessional. Non honest. Non trained. Involving in badmouthing or spreading of rumors. Boss culture, no management or development of employees. You will see a playbook of bad practice. If anyone would raise their child in that way you would not wonder why they would lie but the managers, head ofs, directors and vps are so shameless here that they don’t even get this.
Bad Equipment, old and broken chairs, old tables, old hardware and an even older App. The App is so bad that every developer who joined recently in the core team left again. There was an external consultant who interviewed the DEVs on the condition of the core product almost 1.5 years ago. The result was never shared and you can guess why. Outdated, monolithic, confusing, no onboarding, no coding guidelines, no quality, little qa, bad or not existing development documentation, cluttered approaches and never cleaned up. There seems to be no technical guidance or IT strategy at all.
You will have to look for any kind of professional behavior here with magnifying glasses. As soon as you leave the room, people talk bad. You are the reason for failure, being made responsible for anything that does not work out. Everyone blames the one not in the room. You will hear that people talked about you months later. In case there is a learning potential let the employee know, otherwise don’t badmouth. This results in a culture where everyone skips responsibility, claims others information as his own and pushes through failure to the instance who did get the task. You will not see goals, you will get topics to work on and that you have no saying on it. If they fail on implementation or the business side it will be your miss. No goals, no ideas, just top down tasks with no involvement. A Buch of non working managers and some juniors, whose work is being presented in management meetings. You will even have to prepare the managers slides who function as information pyramides.
Same bad for most.
Top down. You are to slow. Why is this so difficult. You are stupid.
So lange operatives Ergebnis stimmt, wenig Einmischung.
flache Hierarchie, direkte Ansprachen, (wenig Reporting i.
Great people, great work, great location
Work on communication
The normally very cheerful and positive vibe seems to be slightly tainted at the moment due to the corona hardship we are all going through.
The reports here paint a rather gloomy picture about Experteer, which is unfair in my opinion: Arguments for that --> see my comments.
Classic 40h workweek, depending on projects or tasks it can be a bit more or less. Your work hours are a matter of trust, no one will clock you in or out.
Good, interested and driven people will rise at experteer. External training efforts will need your initiative I think, but will most likely receive support.
Seems fair + bonus.
As it is an internet company there's no excessive impact on nature. Lighting and heating are energy efficient. But people could be more diligent in turning off devices and lights and avoiding trash.
Colleagues are very friendly, interested in you as a person and supportive in work and private matters. If you need anything, (really) don't hesitate to ask (same goes for the management). Many friendships between colleagues. Right now social exchange suffers: corona corona...
The staff in general is quite young. Age plays no role here.
Superiors are open-door, supportive, fair and appreciate your effort. Sure there are organisational hierarchies, but in everyday's work everybody is treated as equals. In some instances everyone would benefit from clearer and more consistent directions.
The office is located in the center of Munich in a very fancy grade old building with an accessible tower on top. The office rooms are reasonably sized to fit 6-8 people. The interior is functional and unobtrusively stylish – I'd swop some style on the chairs for more back support though. Laptops, docking stations and double screens are standard. There are kitchens and communal spaces with sofas to meet and chat.
I consider communication to be a weak spot in the company, both ways, top-down and bottom-up, corona doesn't help with that either. But it is a problem understood and worked on.
Everybody is different but equal.
My tasks are very interesting and divers with much freedom to take my own approach and develop the initial task into a project of my own. But I guess that depends from position to position and team to team, also on your own drive. There's generally the option to switch units and see the business from an other angle.
