- Hohe Flexibilität/Remote-Work.
- Sehr kompetente, hilfsbereite Kolleg:innen.
- Prioritäten & Reihenfolge: Klare, stabile Quartalsziele; zuerst Strategie-/Ziel-Review (Exec-Update), dann Planung. Ad-hoc-Strategiewechsel minimieren / verhindern.
Fluktuation kostet Know-how, Tempo und fördert demotivation.
- Performance Reviews: Konzept überarbeiten: klare Kriterien, mehrere Perspektiven/Calibration, transparente Doku.
Sehr tolle, kompetente Kollegen.
good prospect, possibilities to grow, constant learnings
Trust from management, possibility of home office, flexible working hours
Great team, full of expats and good vibes in the office
Challenging product full of learnings
- Freedom and responsibility in various topics and tasks
- Inspirational, ambitious colleagues
- Office location
- Providing some career development plans
- Improving the office culture and facilities
Sometimes challenging, but I enjoy going to work every day!
I'm proud of public appearance and visibility!
Challenging sometimes, but this should be expected working for a highly ambitious startup.
It's good, but there is not much we actively do.
I think there is room for improvement, but it's not a priority in the current stage.
It's great fun and very inspiring to work at Fernride!
Always great experience and good relationship with my managers.
The office could be improved very easily, but this is not a priority.
Regular and transparent communication across the company.
Absolute fair and appropriate compensation.
You face different challenges every day which is exciting and challenging at the same time.
The place is very structured for being a startup. Pressure is high but it is also managed well. People are incredible and there is room for everyone.
It times it is really hard and there is a lot of work. However, you never feel forces to work unreasonably much and there is always room for private life.
Extremely cool stuff is being done here. You really feel like paving the way for something brand new.
- Remote work
-Bad management
- Making an image of successful startup while the insides are very different
- Trying to make people stay by giving new titles and no salary increases.
Maybe start prioritising the well-being of all your employees, not just your favourite four engineers, and you might not struggle so much with staff constantly leaving
Most people are great and friendly, but I wouldn’t call it a good atmosphere when layoffs are swept under the rug, employees are let go due to poor planning, and micromanagement is ingrained in the work culture.
Image is very good, but it doesn't reflect reality.
Depends on the role but for all working at least 50 hours
A good place to start, but not to stay. Make sure to negotiate a high salary from the outset because it won’t increase later.
You'll get your equipment, a desk, and a chair—just don’t expect anything beyond that
They appear to be quite transparent when it comes to sharing numbers and feedback. However, that changes when they offer a "promotion" and ask you to wait over a year to get the salary increase. It’s a clever way to keep employees around with new titles while avoiding fair compensation.
As far as I’m aware, those in Engineering are well paid, but for everyone else, salaries are below market with no raises or career development opportunities.
This definitely is a plus, tasks and product is very interesting
- Good problem to solve
- Good CEO but he is surrounded with not so great people to lead the products
- HR
- Mid-level management
- Poor communication
- Revamp your product vision and roadmap
- Make sure only competent people are promoted to higher roles and not because one is good at bombarding messages on chats
- The work environment is challenging
- Inexperienced management and it clearly shows in decision making
- The gap between the product goal and the path taken is very huge
- Management have no idea how to scale up, shows up in coding, policies and processes that the company wants to follow
- no comments
- very flexible home office schedule
- the expectations of management was not clear
- no comments
- Pay is not at par with the industry standards, but Ok for a startup
- no comments
- Colleagues are warm although it is hard to break into the mold, since most of the existing colleagues are Argo AI export, gives a feeling of partisanship too sometimes
- Very talented colleagues are always helpful to sit down and solve the problems
- Mid level management are highly inexperienced in handling people and projects
- They do not have a vision or idea how to take the team forward
- Avoidable
- basic office, have most of the things needed to work
- Communication from the management is Ok, can improve a lot
- Emphasis is made to posture while the product is in a poor state to attract investors
- HR is for namesake, as it is the case in most of the companies
- The communication and decision making is unilateral, kind of autocratic
- They give you a feeling of being a 'cool' company, it is anything but it.
- Challenging tasks keep you occupied, but sometimes you get a feel you are running around circles doing nothing
Fast paced startup environment, with great leaders and colleagues.
Remote first company that gives everyone the freedom to work as it is best for them.
Strong.
Very great leaders at fernride. Taking care of the people and company in balance.
A lot of effort is put in transparent and open communication. If you want you can know everything about the company from R&D to ops.
If you look for personal and professional development that is the place to be.
Working at FERNRIDE means working in a productive, fun and motivating environment. Team spirit is built through regular team events / group activities like hiking, visiting the nearby beer garden / park, etc.
Since working with FERNRIDE I realized how exciting it can be to talk about your workplace. It's great to be part of this amazing and motivated team.
Working times are super flexible, remote work is possible any day (all meetings are held via video call).
The team at FERNRIDE is positive and caring. Colleagues are always happy to help and try to support each other as good as possible!
Ideas can be communicated and exchanged at any time with the founders. The founders are down to earth and you can see that they value their team (they check in with their team members on a regular basis to see what kind of support / resources they need).
It's a bright open plan office. If it's getting too loud (which happens on rare occasions) you can use one of the phone booths for concentration. If you are missing certain equipment for doing your job, equipment will be ordered in high quality.
Transparency
Clear, honest and straightforward communication on all levels
Open feedback culture
Tasks are sometimes challenging, but there is always someone around you can ask for help / support / a solution to a problem. The team spirit keeps you motivated; it never gets boring!
Very flat hierarchy. Management (Founders) are very accessible and engaged. I feel that everything I accomplish is recognized and contributing to Fernride's success.
The company is recognized well, as multiple awards can tell.
It is a start-up, so there is a lot of opportunity to do more than 100%. However, there is very rarely concrete pressure. And in almost a year there was only one evening, where I had to work really late.
Good opportunities in fast growing company to make career progress.
Start-up spirit, every employee is a shareholder via an participation program. Base salary is on par but not exceptional. At current success trajectory, shareholder options might be worth a fortune, though.
Team events are not mandatory but still very popular which speaks volumes about the atmosphere. We have a few strong "personalities" but they are all very professional where they need to be, and so it is rather enjoyable.
A lot of emphasis is put on leadership principles. There are workshops to teach them. As a result, managers and team leaders do very well.
Home office is actively encouraged and equipment is top notch. The fastest and most silent PC I ever had.
Communication is open and transparent. Weekly town hall meeting informs everyone about current goals and progress in all areas.
Bleeding edge technology for autonomous driving and teleoperation.
It's a startup with an ambitious mindset. So, fast-paced and pragmatic
Fernride is quite well known in the startup ecosystem and won lots of competitions in the last year
Again, for a startup yes. Flexible working hours, but also a high workload.
Competitive salary and stock options
Despite Corona and many days in-home office I feel connected to my colleagues and the team is doing the best to keep everyone engaged.
Good. Still a small team. Feedback is given on regular bases but also received/heard.
For a startup, tbh it's more than expected. Everyone is very approachable. Flat hierarchy, but clear reporting lines. Transparent goal setting and communication where we are with things. Everyone is very approachable.
Probably the most exciting job and challenges I had so far. 100%
So verdient kununu Geld.
