Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Centrally located
Met some great people
If you have a good / high quality network within the company, many doors are opened to you and you can also transition into other fields fairly easily

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

- Toxic culture
- Extreme staff turnover
- Benefits, the lack thereof

Verbesserungsvorschläge

- Learn to accept feedback
E.g.
Collect feedback from internal surveys as well as from external sources such as Kununu, identify the root causes, derive and implement measures - and skip the excuses.
At the rate negative reviews are left on here it should be apparent that Flix has significant issues building and retaining talent.

Arbeitsatmosphäre

By far the worst atmosphere I have ever encountered in a company. Team meetings where so awkward with very few people actually daring to say anything.
Best to keep quiet, this is the first lesson you will learn here.

Kommunikation

There is regular townhalls by the CEOs. Which is good.
Within HR there is no communication per se other than uncomfortable Team Meetings. It almost feels like people deliberately won't share crucial information.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

There are some select helpful and friendly people here and I made some good friends.
But there is also many people there you'd want to be careful around.

Work-Life-Balance

Depends. In theory you have "flexible" hours with core working hours from 9-5 lol. Meaning that any overtime worked is lost time. However, since nobody really checks on you (which is good!), there are a many colleagues that are virtually unavailable; especially when working from home, which is annoying at times when you work in a function that has many interfaces such as HR.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

The level of incompetence of some leaders in some departments is astounding and quite frankly scary in my experience.
Examples include but are not limited to:
- Inability to give and receive CONSTRUCTIVE criticism
- Failure to distribute information in an adequate and timely manner
- The disinterest in creating healthy team dynamics where support and exchange of views are encouraged
- Failure to distribute work effectively and ensure stable processes
(after 6 months of being let go, I still have to chase them for my documents)
- The way some managers address peers and team members is unacceptable

Gleichberechtigung

Needs more diversity.

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

There really aren't any.

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

Flix outdoes itsself greenwashing its image. In reality sustainability topics are at the very bottom of the list unless of course if you can market it.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

Flix definitely profits from the fact that they hire many young people and foreigners who are simply unaware of the market situation in Germany / Munich because compensation and benefits are below average at best compared to what other companies offer in the area.

Image

These days it is quite known, in my industry at least, that Flix is not an employer where you'd want to work in HR.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

Promotions do happen. Not sure on which criteria though ;)
It is a pity that no budget is provided for further training, team building or other measures and trainings. This would be urgently needed in many areas.
