- Great colleagues in the end-2-end supply chain team.
- Empathetic leadership on all levels within the supply chain department.
- Opportunities to grow, both on management track and as subject matter expert.
- Friendly towards international applicants.
- Interesting business model: FMCG (food) with omnichannel.
- The company has changed for the better over the last 12 months.
- Hybrid working: 50% on-site requirement.
- Beautiful office with good transport connection.
- Discount on Urban Sports.
- Discount on products.
- 360-degree performance reviews twice per year. HR and management take the matter seriously.
- Collaboration between the departments and teams shows room for improvement.
- Due to the restructurings, it is not always sufficiently communicated who the (new) process owner is.
• Relatively, good compensation; compared to the average Berlin start up • 30 days of holidays • Nice office • Open to experimentation
• Unrealistic expectations for results - Extreme pressure • Constant change of strategy and supervisors; my set up changed 4 times in less than a year • Do not keep their promises; I was promised a specific set up to join, but found a completely different setting when I joined (team, responsibilities, expectations etc) • Home office and work from abroad severe limitations • Teams work in silos, not caring about how their outcome will affect other teams • Broken communications • Short sighted strategy
• Management should take ownership of its decisions • Create a long term strategy • Make employees feel secure
- The company had a strong sense of community and teamwork, with employees who were dedicated to supporting each other and working together to achieve common goals.
- The company had a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and took steps to create a welcoming and supportive environment for employees of all backgrounds.
I wouldn't recommend anyone to work for this company, as they have shown a complete lack of concern for their employees' well-being. I was unfortunately made redundant in a mass lay-off, which was handled with little to no sensitivity or empathy.
The company's management showed a complete disregard for the impact that their decision would have on their employees, leaving many of us feeling betrayed and disrespected. The process was rushed and poorly communicated, leaving us with little time to prepare or find alternative employment.
Additionally, the company has a history of mistreating and undervaluing their staff, with poor compensation packages and limited opportunities for career growth. There is a culture of favoritism and nepotism that is prevalent within the company, making it difficult for employees to progress or feel valued.
Overall, I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for a supportive and respectful work environment. The lack of concern for their employees' well-being and the culture of favoritism and mistreatment make it a challenging and unpleasant place to work.
- The company could benefit from investing more in training and development programs for employees, to help them improve their skills and advance their careers within the company.
- It would be helpful for the company to establish clear channels of communication between departments, to ensure that teams are working collaboratively and sharing information effectively.
- The company could benefit from establishing a regular feedback process for employees, to help identify areas where they are excelling and where they could improve, and to provide them with opportunities to voice their concerns or suggestions.
- It may be helpful for the company to establish a clear career advancement plan for employees, to help them understand what they need to do to progress within the company and what opportunities are available to them.
- Management could consider implementing a more rigorous screening process for new hires, to identify any potential red flags or behaviors that may be harmful to the workplace culture.
The company had a relaxed and informal culture, which helped to foster a sense of creativity and innovation among employees.
One of the benefits of working at the company was the flexibility around working hours, which made it easier to balance work with other commitments and responsibilities.
One of the areas where the company fell short was in providing opportunities for further training and development. This was a disappointment for employees who wanted to improve their skills and advance their careers.
The positive relationships between employees helped to create a more enjoyable and fulfilling work environment, where people felt valued and supported by their colleagues.
The company's management showed a complete disregard for the impact that their decision would have on their employees, leaving many of us feeling betrayed and disrespected. The process was rushed and poorly communicated, leaving us with little time to prepare or find alternative employment.
Unfortunately, communication between departments at the company was often poor, which led to confusion and delays in getting work done.
Verliert langsam an Relevanz
I really enjoy working at foodspring. You have good opportunities for your own career. The team welcomes everyone very open-hearted and you immediately feel like a part of the foodspring family.
Innovativ, tolle Arbeitsbedingungen
The products are amazing and I truly believe in them. This is what's so frustrating, there is so much potential that is being butchered by awful management.
A company is as good as its management and the management has absolutely no clue of what they are doing. Everything is the fault of the employees, no reflection of the C-level whatsoever.
First of all - stop deleting bad reviews, that is not the way to handle unsatisfied employees, just ignoring doesn't work here and it's just plain pathetic.
Maybe, just MAYBE listen to what your employees are saying and try to treat them in a way that doesn't make them question their job everyday. How on earth do you want good performance if everyone keeps leaving and with them the know-how.
Employees are lovely and there is a great culture amongst them with loads of support for each other
Basically non-existent, don't you dare leave before 7pm, you're not "going the extra mile" and therefore are a disgrace
With the extremely high pressure from the C-level people work closely together and have a strong community to withstand it
To make it short: disrespectful, no f**ks given about the employees, it's all about performance.
Apart from being absolutely intransparent, get ready to get shouted at in meetings regularly (sometimes insults, depends on the day)
"it is an honor to work for foodspring" is basically your salary
Definitely the opportunity to take on a lot of responsibility early on with the possibility to have great impact
The people you work with, the culture and the products itself.
Focus more on a sustainable path to growth.
I like working here.
Awesome B2C brand - what more can you wish for?
In my perception working hours are rather relaxed, most people come around 09 am and leave around 6pm.
They recently introduced more opportunities to do self-study with online course, which is quite cool. Besides you can get support for all kinds of things if you ask for it.
Compensation is above average compared to Berlin startups
foodspring breathes sustainability. We used to have the cheapest milk and stuff for some time, but after some critism we got propper organic products again.
Nobody is left behind. If problems occur teams get through it together.
The company is in general rather young, but age is not a criteria.
The leadership is diverse in terms of age, seniority or skill set. The company invests in developing these leaders further.
Quite likely the best startup office in Berlin
As with every company that scales quickly communication is a challenge, whoever it is contiously improving and people strive to make it better.
We have all kinds of backgrounds on almost all roles. Leadership is skewed towards males though
In many fields you get to do some really pioneering stuff
So verdient kununu Geld.
