The people are very friendly. The HR department is doing really good job. There is a lot of very passionate and dedicated people in all the departments.
Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich
The IT/Engineering has adopted the "agile" methodology. We talk more than we do, we waste time on useless meetings, we do not do things, because "it won't fit in the sprint". I feel like the developers are being treated as easily replaceable factory workers.
For some reason a lot of good people have decided to quit.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
The office layout and relatively big amount of meetings do not help with concentrated work. Other than that it's very good.
Kommunikation
The amount of meetings is large enough, and there is a lot of information available, yet critical and revolutionary changes have not been communicated or explained properly.
Interessante Aufgaben
There was a strong pressure to do things in a very basic, low-effort ways. No time has been given to do things right even later. Technical debt was growing, our own customers were sending us solutions to problems we were perfectly aware of. Even relatively simple solutions were estimated as "too complex", and we usually ended with stripped down versions, causing a lot of problems, which required (later) a lot of work to fix and maintain.
It's quite emotional for me. I feel like I cannot be proud of anything I have done here.

I am not a woman. I am only estimating the situation to be good basing on what I have seen and heard.
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
You do not get an automatic salary increase every year (as for the long-working colleagues). As for the physical age, there are still some 40+ people. I was one of them, and I felt very good. The specifics of the company is that it attracts younger people much more.
Arbeitsbedingungen
At least for the IT people, there is a big, shared office. It's mostly noisy and distracting. As for the computer, you get a Mac, even if you don't like one.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
You have very low chances on salary increase. Other than that, everything is really good.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
At least recently, there are constant changes. The future is unclear, and as such it is very difficult to plan your career.
