The work atmosphere. Maybe I am just lucky, but it really feels like everyone is trying to do their job best and proactively help the others, if necessary.

I think that it is important to remind the employees that they are working at the company with the great purpose and that their work makes a real impact on people's lives. Fresenius is not that well recognized as the companies that are selling OTC products and people are too modest about their amazing work.

All colleagues are super nice and proactively helping you to find your way in the company on your first days.

I am positively surprised about the speed of answering my questions by the HR department during the recrutation stage and later, during the onboarding stage. It is the same with the colleagues in the department.

Colleagues were proactively thinking of how to facilitate my onboarding by giving me suggestions, helping me to gen an access to the different tools.
Work-Life-Balance
Every minute counts - your exact start and end of work is reflected in the system and you can either leave earlier or convert such extra hours for an extra payment. Fresenius pays extra attention to the labor law and makes you understand your rights, obligations and when it is allowed to do overhours. A great advantage is, that it is up to you and your manager, how often can you work from home (usually for 60% of the time) and in which hours.
Interessante Aufgaben
Company is now in the middle of the Vision 2026 - a framework that is supposed to prepare it for the decade to come. Everything is changing and people are adapting to smaller or more dramatic changes but everyone is aware that such changes are inevitable in order to stay in the business so usually people are willing to embrace them and the accompanying challenges.
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
General international mentality, many cultures and English as a business language - it all helps in creating an atmosphere where people are nice to each other, being at the same time full of respect for the more experienced/senior ones.
Arbeitsbedingungen
You are pretty free to work as you want - rooms are spacious and quiet. There is a kitchen with sparkling/still water, coffee, tea... There is also a cantine with reasonable prices. You have all what you need to be efficient at work.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
Company takes care of this too. You have separated bins for recycling etc. There is a strong recommendation to work paperless.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
Their offer very fair salary, based on skills, years of experience etc. The salary is also verified by their work council to check if it is not too high/too low compared to the colleagies with similar profiles. You can also apply for extras, like a budget for German lessons or partial compensation of the nursery school expenses.

I think that my colleagues are too modest about the company that they are working at. Fresenius has a great mission, all of the employees are making a huge change for the patients. They should be more proud of it.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
I am happy about my career and learning perspectives but think it all depends on the support of the manager. Company enables also a career break to do studies etc.
