Trust your people, you hired them for a reason. Train your leaders to provide clear job description to the people and let them achieve their goals (less micromanaging, less approval processes, clearer responsibilities).
The company is great, the products can make a difference, the staff is motivated. So really listen and act accordingly. Be more transparent and inclusive, creative and innovative. Don’t think everything through in every single detail, it blocks progress and leads to frustration.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
Direct colleagues are nice and everyone is trying their best to keep the atmosphere light and fun. However, the workload forces people to work without real breaks, so there is almost no time for team building, even less for networking.
Kommunikation
It is the worst I’ve ever come across in a company. Bits and pieces are shared on the Intranet, but mich info is reserves for the “bosses”.

Work-Life-Balance
If one works in the right department with an understanding department head, the flexible working hours and remote options are outstanding. But also much needed as the workload is very high. So the flexibility provides some room for balance.
Really bad: a lot of colleagues are asked to be available during their vacations and check emails regularly (and respond) and also after EOB. There is a lot of room for improvement

Depends. Hopefully, the modern ones will not become victims of politics and the new leaderships style and it’s corresponding expectations.
Interessante Aufgaben
There is so much potential and so much to do. It seems like Fresenius Kabi is somehow stuck. I joined expecting a great job with great tasks and responsibilities as well as room to “just do and show why you’ve been hired”. This got completely lost in everchanging structures, strict hierarchies and seemingly fear of change. This is what disappoints me most; such a great company, with so many gaps to be filled - and no chance to do so. This might be the reason for frustration for many, especially colleagues who recently joined full of excitement
Arbeitsbedingungen
Office Equipment is fine and state of the art, even for the Home Office. Canteen is the best. Some buildings are very old (with smelly carpet), so the comfy factor varies. Hours are tracked and monitored, however no time to reduce overhours.
Home Office is an option, normally 3 days a week (if superior agrees) and most colleagues seems to use and appreciate the option.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
There is little knowledge about initiatives, but it does not seem to be a priority for the top. What needs to be done, gets done. Nothing above and beyond, which is a bit disappointing as there are many opportunities in line with the mission

Currently, Fresenius Kabi cannot live up to the very good public image; the internal image is so so, depending who you ask.
