What I wrote above
* Collaboration
* Working conditions
* Tasks
* Getting in touch with the finance sector
Look at suggestions
* More stable long-term vision (While I know that this is hard in the current economical situation)
* Sometimes a little more honest communication
Currently, there are a lot of changes going on in parallel. Due to this, sometimes, it feels like the company is caught between being a startup and something one would call "mature company". I, personally, love the atmosphere, but I can understand people who are looking for more stability.
I particularly like that mindset to find solutions and not looking for problems while everyone has an eye on implications so that nothing is rushed without taking potential problems into consideration.
I think, before I applied here, I never heard of it before, so nothing to mention here
Flexible working times, working abroad, work from home/office/hybrid - for me the best setup I can think of
Not so much, but managers are open to support you. you are not spoon-fed, and it's in your responsibility to approach your development. We have a monthly budget for further education.
Nothing special - Neither worse nor better than other companies I've worked at.
I give 5 stars from my perspective and within the department (IT). Everyone is approachable and supportive - Both in the hierarchy as well as between teams. There is no one who rejects you when you have a question, may it be about technology or business. It's easy to align on decisions. Each week there is an architecture weekly where everyone is open to discuss technical topics on each level.
Unfortunately, there is still a gap between the commercial part and tech/product. But my observation is that this gets better and better. I also appreciate to be able to get in touch with finance related topics that I wouldn't learn anything about otherwise.
The average age might be slightly above mid 30s, I guess. Some are older, some are younger. I don't see any hesitations regarding that.
As usual a very subjective question. In my case, I have nothing to complain. Everyone in the hierarchy is approachable. Sometimes it feels that implications are sacrificed for the sake of impact. There are some strong characters which you need to be able to deal with, but in general, the teams are shielded very well by their managers (at least in my team and how I perceived it from other teams). So you can challenge decisions, but you don't have to.
New hardware, depending on the department selectable. You can use the office (If in the according area) or work from home. At least in the Berlin office free coffee and snacks (I know, that's not the big deal anymore, but I appreciate it nonetheless).
Besides that, look at what I wrote about collaboration, managers, etc..
Working and collaborating within the team/department (IT) is great. The communication with other departments struggles here and there, but I see it improving.
Age, gender, origin, sexuality ... - I don't see any prejudices or other problems at all.
Again very subjective - For me a definite yes. Not only what I've been hired for, but you can also get in touch with new topics. No one holds you back to dive into new tasks - Of course, there is also day-by-day work to be done, but there are a lot of opportunities to get in touch with other topics.
Good team collab, working remotely
No interest in personal development. No career planning.
Show real interest in your employees
No clear structure and missing transparency of company vision is leading to uncertainty
Okayish workload, free time management
No career planning.
Awesome colleagues, great collab within the teams
No support from the c level, no trainings, no interest in personal development
home office, good equipment
Communication happens often in small groups. No clear company wide communication

A high-performance culture with demanding standards. It’s not for everyone, but if you're self-motivated and driven to achieve the best results, you'll thrive there.
Partners and customers I worked with had a very good impression of FinCompare.
There are high expectations and significant pressure, but you can manage your working hours. If you're effective with your time, it offers a great work-life balance—it’s in your hands!
Over 3,5 years, I advanced from Senior to Lead and finally to Unit Lead. What more could you want?
Slightly above average
All fine!
It’s all about how much you're ready to put in. When you give your best, the teamwork is excellent. Yes, there are some difficult colleagues, but show me a workplace where that's not the case.
It's a young company, but older colleagues are treated with equal respect and care
Great availability, receptive to feedback, and always there when you need them. As a startup/scale-up, there’s a lot for leadership to navigate, but with that in mind, they’re doing very well—thank you!
A small office in a central location, with remote work being preferred depending on the department, and plenty of support provided.
It's a fast-paced environment and a tough market. Communication has its flaws, but overall, it's transparent and effective
All fine, nothing to add here.
There’s immense potential and plenty of work to be done. Naturally, this means there are challenging conditions at the moment. But you're joining to make a difference, not to find a perfectly running company, right?
abhängig vom Bereich
gut, freie Zeiteinteilung
intransparent, kein einheitlicher Maßstab
gut
abhängig vom Bereich, einige Bereiche gut, Vertrieb erschreckend schwach
nicht immer transparent und ehrlich
sehr vielseitig
friendly and supportive
As a working student, i had the chance to take on challenging tasks that helped enhancing my skills and experience
my co-workers were friendly and collaborative
my both managers were friendly and supportive, they provided me with interesting tasks that helped me develop my skills and gain a good practical experience
they were generaly good, the company provided the option for remote work which was helpful for maintaining work life balance
was effective and there was always an open environment for transparent feedback
Remote working policy, salary was also ok.
Nearly everything else.
They pretend to be open to feedback and claim there are no hierarchies, but in reality, it's the complete opposite. Even very intelligent and experienced new colleagues realize within two weeks of being in this company that they made a mistake by joining.
It's ok. But too many meetings for no reason.
Team members are friendly, but the whole situation in the company makes everyone angry and hopeless. It feels like there is no future for anyone here.
The management is unaware of how the product lifecycle works. It seems like for most of them, this is their first experience in leadership positions in tech companies. Team members have to explain obvious things and argue about matters that experienced leads would have understood a long time ago.
If you look at the product, both in the backend and in the frontend, it's a mess. The team finds this work extremely challenging, and even the efforts of the most hardworking individuals are not appreciated here.
The management fails to take responsibility for explaining the strategic goals and how we intend to achieve them. The goals change from day to day, making it impossible to work on the product effectively.
Nearly no woman in leading positions.
Ich mag die Hilfsbereitschaft und Offenheit der Mitarbeiter. Alle Türen stehen offen.
Viel Eigenverantwortung in dem Thema, damit kann ich gut umgehen.
junges Unternehmen, was auch eher jüngere Menschen anspricht, daher kaum Erfahrungswerte
Sehr vielfältig und großer Gestaltungsspielraum.
So verdient kununu Geld.
