Good company, if you are lucky
Verbesserungsvorschläge
Regular performance evaluations, at least once a year would be nice.
Homeoffice instead of traveling, we are working international anyway, none of my colleagues work from my office.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
Much empty talk, at least I have no clue what my boss thinks of / wants from me. But the immediate colleagues are valuable. Respect for others in general seems to be somehow low, otherwise everyone would stop screaming in the open space office when on the phone.
Work-Life-Balance
3 days you need to be in the office, starting next year it will be 4. That will make it impossible to have a life if you live further away. Many colleagues I know need to travel multiple hours a day...lets see who will still be there in a year
Karriere/Weiterbildung
If you find the time after work you can educate yourself.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
Bringing people to the office just to have calls with international colleagues from there...I mean, whats that about.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
Team internal colleagues are great, but if you cross team borders you need to know who you can count on, otherwise you wait forever to get something done.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
My boss talks a lot, but only seems he wants to strengthen his standing with his superior. Clear goals are not set or communicated, just rough guidelines. If you need something along the way, he sends emails, but not much is happening. Personal feedback or goals (at least for me) are not set, or at least not communicated. Regular performance evaluations, at least once a year would be nice.
Arbeitsbedingungen
Hardware is good. The limited office network makes work quite hard. Homeoffice would be nice, but this option will basically be cancelled next year. The open office is much too loud with no one caring for the other persons in the room. Bring good headphones or escape to a phone both, if its available.
Kommunikation
Top down communication is okayish, getting told on friday afternoon that the homeoffice option will be cancelled shows a clear lack of leadership skills when it comes to that topic I guess :D
Communication between departments often results in stalemates, dragging processes slowly along.
Interessante Aufgaben
A lot of stuff do do, a lot of fun stuff, but you need a ton of meetings, so not much can be moved.
