Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

The learning opportunities are really great and certifications are always proactively offered.

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

After my manager left the company, I no longer had confidence that anyone would take me forward. Of course, I don't know if that would have been the case, but the risk was too high for me.
I still talk to my former colleagues and can only say that it was definitely the right decision for me to leave.
The fact that people leave the company because they only see competence in individual managers should give pause for thought here.

Verbesserungsvorschläge

People leaving because they have no perspective when they've reached a certain level. Also, the upline management must learn how to make decisions in time. The impression of being unable to act is getting bigger and bigger.

Arbeitsatmosphäre

The working atmosphere is highly dependent on the project you are working on. Mostly ok as long as everything is going well.

Kommunikation

There are meetings at the company, department and team level. For me, only the meetings at team level with my direct manager were relevant and informative.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

The cohesion of the colleagues has always been good in my opinion.

Work-Life-Balance

There is a great awareness for the employee's family, here a lot was done for me especially during Corona. However, there was a time before Corona that was accompanied by a lot of overtime. This only improved after i got a new manager. Projects often demand too much and that will be ignored as long as come up with billable hours.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

I would love to give 5 stars here but i can't. If you would ask me to rate my direct manager, 5 stars would not be enough. But there is the upline management also. Willingness to make decisions is simply not there. It seems that the upline management delays very important decisions and announcements. For example that the Center Lead / Practice Lead will leave his position. We got that information 2 days before. Much uncertainty was the result.
Attempts are made to fill positions strategically instead of selecting according to competence. This leads to frequent changes in management.

Interessante Aufgaben

This again depends very much on the current project. I've had both interesting and less exciting projects. Unfortunately, you can only influence that yourself to a limited extent.

Arbeitsbedingungen

The working conditions are good. Offices are modern, but there are too few monitors and the hardware at the Munich location is outdated.

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

Here I can't really say anything about it, in the office the garbage is separated and the coffee is drunk from reusable cups.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

After switching to the new company, I'm earning just under a third more without having really negotiated. So, the salary could be better, almost every competitor pays more money.

The Client Innovation Center thrives on the fact that it's an IBM company. In fact, it is simply IT consulting with an IBM logo. In projects with the parent company, one is often perceived as an underskilled construction worker who can simply put the bricks on top of each other. That is very frustrating.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

I give 3 stars because I believe that there are a lot possibilities here for young professionals. But as soon as you have reached a certain level of seniority, you are deliberately kept down, because with increasing experience and salary, your own price on projects is going up as well. Therefore, it is more difficult to be placed.
