As a Senior Software Architect, you take end‑to‑end responsibility for the architecture of one of our core software solutions, ensuring its long‑term maintainability, scalability, and reliability. You define the technical vision for your area, provide direction to architects and developers, and lead the evolution towards modern architecture. As part of a cross‑functional architecture team, you contribute to strategic, company‑wide decisions that shape our software landscape. You work closely together with product and business stakeholders to align architecture with our long‑term goals.

What you can expect

• End‑to‑end architectural responsibility for core solutions on Kubernetes rolled out on Azure
• Defining principles and guardrails for our cloud‑native and CNCF‑based ecosystem
• Company‑wide standards using C4, arc42, and shared “Golden Paths”
• Major influence on MlOps capabilities and data platforms across multiple products
• Strategic say in platform and tooling roadmap, including GitHub and Azure DevOps
• A highly automated setup with Python, Bash, Terraform and Ansible as key enablers
• Leading cross‑team architecture discussions, reviews, and decision‑making with leadership

What you bring

• Proven capability to architect comprehensive solutions, from sensor data acquisition to customer insights delivery
• Extensive experience with complex distributed systems on Azure using Kubernetes and CNCF technologies
• Proven use of C4 and Arc42 to drive consistent architecture across multiple teams
• Strong DevOps/MlOps background, including CI/CD and operating ML/data‑heavy systems
• Ability to define, evolve, and advocate organization‑wide “Golden Paths”
• Deep knowledge of GitHub and Azure DevOps, including branching, reviews, and releases
• Advanced IaC expertise with Terraform and Ansible plus strong Python and Bash skills
• Experience coaching architects and senior developers and leading technical forums
• Strength in aligning architecture with business goals, constraints, and regulations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (German is a plus) to collaborate effectively within teams
