Join the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) Enterprise Applications, Migrations and Modernisation team as a GTM Specialist Solutions Architect for Microsoft workloads!

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Key job responsibilities
• Represent the voice of the customer; collaborate with field and central teams to bring customer feedback to product teams and continuously improve running Microsoft workloads on AWS.
• Lead curation of custom feature and availability requests for unique customer use cases.
• Provide advanced technical knowledge to your aligned GTM teams to unblock our customers’ largest and most critical business challenges.
• Along with your extended team, own the technical bar for specialist technical artifacts and standards.
• Collaborate with your GTM colleagues to provide technical insights into GTM strategy and support field marketing to execute local technical events, campaigns, and customer engagements.
• Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures and public-speaking events such as AWS Summit, AWS re: Invent, etc.
• Guide and Support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts aligned to your customers. Create field enablement materials for the broader SA population to help them understand how to integrate new AWS solutions into customer architectures.

About the team
The WWSO Microsoft Workloads team positions AWS as the best place to run Microsoft-based workloads. Our team helps customers migrate Microsoft services to the AWS cloud while providing a secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure for customers to innovate and unlock new potential. As a Specialist SA on the Microsoft Workloads team, you will lead the technical AWS GTM strategy for Microsoft workloads in Germany. You will create scaled GTM motions for AWS to expand adoption of these services into new or existing customer portfolios. This position will help EMEA AWS customers migrate and modernise their Microsoft workloads by using AWS services.

BEVORZUGTE QUALIFIKATIONEN

- History of successful technical consulting and/or architecture engagements with large-scale customers or enterprises.
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud by using microservices and application modernization techniques
- Expertise in highly available data center operations with responsibility for infrastructure robustness, including networking, server, storage, and security and privacy frameworks
- Familiarity with common enterprise services and working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers.
- AWS Solution Architecture certification or relevant cloud services, cloud native design and/or cloud implementation experience
- Computer Science /relevant degree and/or experience highly desired.
