About the role

As Associate Director Brand Marketing, you will take ownership of Redcare Pharmacy’s brand positioning and brand media strategy across our six markets. Reporting directly to the Director Marketing, you will bring together an established team of eight specialists and create a unified way of working across countries, channels and areas of expertise.

This newly created leadership role is not about rebuilding a function from the ground up. The expertise is already in place – your mandate is to connect it, provide direction and turn our brand strategy into an integrated, measurable cross-market media plan. TV, programmatic and social are equally important parts of the remit.

About your tasks

• Own and further develop Redcare Pharmacy’s brand concept and positioning, ensuring consistency across six markets, channels and customer touchpoints.
• Build and steer the cross-market brand media plan, including budget allocation and phasing across TV, programmatic and social.
• Lead, develop and connect a team of eight specialists, establishing clear responsibilities and an effective operating model across country and channel expertise.
• Continuously improve the media mix by applying brand tracking, marketing mix modelling and incrementality insights, linking brand investment to measurable business impact.
• Establish effective planning and governance routines across markets and channels, enabling transparent decisions, shared learnings and continuous optimization.

Qualifications

About you

• You bring senior brand and media experience from a multi-market, data-driven organization, ideally within e-commerce, online retail or another consumer-focused digital business.
• Deep knowledge of TV, programmatic and social media enables you to challenge plans, guide in-house specialists and manage external agencies confidently.
• Your track record includes leading and developing experienced teams while bringing previously separate capabilities into a shared structure.
• Brand investment is something you connect to commercial outcomes, using data and measurement to support decisions rather than relying on reach and awareness alone.
• English proficiency at C1 level or above is essential; German is an advantage but not required. You are also able to work from our Cologne office at least once a week.
