Operations Project Manager

Work Location: Hybrid in either of the following states: NJ, GA, MI and CA

Work Schedule: Mon - Fri, schedule and travel flexibility required

Job Status: Full-Time, temporary. Possibility of becoming a permanent team member

Compensation: $88,000.00 - $105,000.00 USD per annum

Position Description: As a Project Manager on our TELUS Digital team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of one or more complex AI programs. The role requires class-leading customer engagement involving strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to empathize with and respond to customers' and team members’ needs, problem-solving skills, and the ability to function effectively in a fast-moving, rapidly changing environment. Collaboration with multi-location and cross-functional teams will be key to maintaining and improving customer satisfaction, revenue, and profitability.

Main Responsibilities:

• Proactively focus on fulfilling Customer needs through innovative thinking and collaboration with internal technical, production, scheduling, and management teams.
• Collaborate with internal teams to initiate, document, and implement procedural changes and customized workflows.
• Review customer satisfaction through regular meetings and communications.
• While working with our on-site and off-site teams, plan and monitor projects to meet deadlines, quality, and budget requirements. Focus on continuous improvements and cost-saving measures.
• Maintain project financial trackers and assist with payment verifications and approvals
• Optimization through automation - provide innovative solutions to improve processes.
• Manage, support, and provide training and onboarding for Project Coordinators

Required Qualifications:

• 3 - 5 years of experience as a Project Manager
• 3 years of experience in any of the following lines of business: Entertainment production, event management, Operations management, research management
• 3 years of experience in vendor management, people management, client management and project logistics
• 3 years of experience in managing multiple and simultaneous complex projects with tight deadlines
• Comfortable with a fast-paced environment requiring multitasking, adaptability, and hands-on involvement
• Data Collection experience preferred
• Technical proficiency (including spreadsheets, Office tools, Google Suite).
• Experience in project financial management and budgeting.
• 2 - 3 years of experience in managing small teams.
• Proactive with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to optimize tasks and processes.
• Fluency in English is a must.
• Will be required to pass a background check
• General knowledge of artificial intelligence and machine learning is an advantage, but not required

Internal eligibility requirements:

• 6 months of tenure with TELUS Digital
• 6 months of tenure in current position
