There is no specific culture in the organisation, no values that are being followed. The company says that it is open to feedback, but on many occasions it has shown to be the opposite of openness to direct feedback.

Some team leads think that they are allowed to do anything, even fire someone just because they do not like them much and see that the person understands more than the lead does.

This kind of behaviour is supported by the C-Level and even the seniority, competence, and knowledge of the one being let go in this case does not matter to them as well as it does not matter how much money and time the company has spent on looking for such qualified employees.

“It is my decision and I stand behind it, even if it is wrong” is the motto by which the C-Level manages the whole organisation.

HR staff is not independent and completely intransparent. They only like working with those who build good relationship with them and turn agains those who their “friends” say are not good. They also lie and pretend to be friendly while discussing your person with other colleagues behind your back.

You can only survive if you are friends with someone important.

Arbeitsatmosphäre

- There are possibilities to create good contacts with colleagues from other department and get insights into what their teams are currently working on
- Most of the colleagues are friendly, however their friendliness doesn’t help when you ask them for help with a topic or give them an important task. They would rather keep getting daily reminders about incomplete tasks than do anything and then complain about receiving those reminders. In addition to that, there is absolutely no support from the C-Level, as they ignore any call for help or support in those cases
- Atmosphere in my team was absolutely toxic. It was completely uncomfortable to work with the only colleague I’ve had back then because of her complete lack of transparency and inability to manage the team (that consisted of only myself at the time)
- There were things that had been decided behind my back and the reasons for such decisions were not explained to me in an understandable manner even after many requests to do so
- My team lead was not happy about my feedback regarding her performance and took it personally by reacting emotionally instead of accepting that she might need to work on herself or arguing with me

- No possibility to either receive or give direct and fair feedback to the management
- Feedback is often taken personally and people get fired for giving direct feedback in the first place
- C-Level and lower management ignore dissatisfaction of their employees and appreciate and support bullying

- The company is completely disorganised and has no fixed culture, creating a burden, rather than an interesting task
- Lack of proper management of expectations makes any task pointless
