Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

The brand itself and its external reputation remain exceptionally strong, and there is still a clear sense of pride associated with being part of the organization.

The work can be engaging and meaningful, and there is still potential for interesting tasks depending on role and team context.

Diversity, inclusion, sustainability, and social responsibility are clearly articulated as strategic priorities, and the company communicates these topics consistently on a global level.

There are also individual teams and leaders who demonstrate professionalism, engagement, and supportive collaboration, which shows that positive leadership styles do exist within the organization.

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

There is a growing gap between externally communicated values and the internal working reality. Internally, the environment is often perceived as more cautious and less open than expected from the public image.

Communication tends to be risk-sensitive, which limits open dialogue and leads to self-censorship in many situations. Trust in feedback channels and anonymity is not consistently present, which further reinforces this behavior.

Workload has increased significantly, while staffing levels and organizational stability have not always kept pace. This has led to sustained pressure and frequent role overload across teams.

Leadership is often perceived as inconsistent, with a strong focus on short-term visibility and execution speed, while structured development, clear prioritization, and employee involvement are less consistently experienced.

Career progression is not always perceived as fully transparent, and development opportunities are sometimes influenced by informal factors beyond performance alone.

Overall, the internal experience does not fully match the external perception of the company.

Verbesserungsvorschläge

A stronger alignment between communicated values and day-to-day leadership behavior would significantly improve trust and credibility. Leadership should focus more consistently on sustainable decision-making, clear prioritization, and genuine employee involvement rather than speed and visibility alone.

Workload distribution and staffing levels need to be addressed more systematically to reduce chronic overload and dependency on constant increasing of workload and pressure. Transparent and consistently applied hybrid and flexibility rules would also help reduce perceived inequality.

Feedback mechanisms should be strengthened in terms of trust and transparency, ensuring that anonymous input is both genuinely protected and visibly acted upon. In addition, career development processes would benefit from clearer, more transparent criteria that are less dependent on informal proximity or visibility.

Arbeitsatmosphäre

The overall work atmosphere has deteriorated noticeably over time. While a positive and value-driven culture is still communicated externally, the internal experience increasingly feels strained and lacking in trust.

There is a growing disconnect between stated values and day-to-day reality. Appreciation often appears formal rather than genuine, and a truly open, psychologically safe environment is no longer consistently present.

Kommunikation

Communication is marked by caution. Many employees carefully consider what they say and to whom, which significantly limits open dialogue.

There is a widespread perception that statements can be interpreted negatively or shared beyond their original context. As a result, people tend to hold back rather than speak openly.

Confidence in anonymous feedback channels is limited, as doubts persist לגבי both anonymity and the actual use of results.

In addition, there have been instances where employees were encouraged—directly or indirectly—to leave positive reviews on external platforms, which raises questions about the authenticity of such feedback.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

Collaboration among colleagues is generally professional, but not consistently built on trust. Open and candid exchanges are limited.

Information is sometimes shared selectively or indirectly, which can undermine transparency and effective teamwork. Trust is not a given, but something that needs to be carefully assessed.

There is also a noticeable tendency among some to prioritize personal positioning with leadership, which can come at the expense of genuine collaboration.

Work-Life-Balance

Workload has increased significantly in recent years. At the same time, turnover and unfilled roles have led to additional responsibilities being distributed across existing staff.

“Double jobbing” has become common rather than exceptional. In many cases, the volume of work is difficult to manage within regular working hours.

Working beyond standard hours is often implicitly expected. Flexible work arrangements are not applied consistently, leading to perceptions of unequal treatment.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

Leadership is perceived as inconsistent and, at times, insufficiently supportive.

There is a strong focus on speed, visibility, and short-term results. Longer-term development, employee involvement, and clear prioritization appear to receive less attention.

In some cases, leadership responsibilities seem to be assigned without sufficient experience, which can result in unclear expectations, shifting priorities, and limited guidance in daily work.

Interessante Aufgaben

The roles themselves offer potential and can be engaging. However, this potential is not always fully realized.

Ideas and improvement suggestions do not appear to be evaluated solely on their merit. Instead, there is a perception that visibility and proximity to certain groups can influence whether input is acknowledged.

Gleichberechtigung

Diversity and inclusion are clearly positioned as priorities, but their consistent implementation in everyday work is less evident.

There are perceptions that certain groups may be evaluated differently, and that informal criteria—such as language fluency—can carry disproportionate weight compared to actual contribution.

This creates a noticeable gap between ambition and lived experience.

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

There is a growing impression that experienced and long-tenured employees are becoming less central to the organization.

Their expertise does not always appear to be leveraged to its full extent, which may lead to a gradual loss of institutional knowledge.

Arbeitsbedingungen

Working conditions are increasingly shaped by sustained performance pressure. Ambitious targets translate directly into daily workload and expectations.

At the same time, decisions regarding roles, development, or separation are not always perceived as transparent or easy to understand.

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

The company communicates strong ambitions regarding sustainability and social responsibility. In practice, these ambitions are not always consistently reflected in internal operations.

This contributes to a broader perception that external messaging and internal reality are not fully aligned.

Gehalt/Benefits

Compensation, while previously competitive, is increasingly perceived as less aligned with workload and level of responsibility.

Rising living costs further amplify this perception, particularly when combined with increased expectations and workload.

Image

The brand continues to enjoy an exceptionally strong external reputation. RepTrack No.1

Internally, however, the gap between this image and everyday experience is becoming more apparent. For some, this has led to a decline in identification with the company.

Efforts to actively shape external perception, including encouraging positive reviews, further reinforce the impression that image management may take priority over addressing underlying issues.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

Employees frequently take on extended or higher-level responsibilities without corresponding long-term development opportunities.

Career progression is not always perceived as transparent and may be influenced by factors beyond measurable performance.

This can create the impression that opportunities are not equally accessible to everyone.
