Leo Burnett is a large, well-known agency with many different departments and correspondingly varied, wide-ranging work. You get exposure to a broad range of projects and clients, learn a lot through exchange with experienced colleagues, and build a good network across departments.
Overall, there was a high level of pressure to meet expectations for much of the time, without time or resources being adjusted accordingly. As a result, employees were often left with too little room for a life outside of work.
More benefits for employees and a working system for compensating overtime would be desirable. A role profile for each position, outlining what's expected and what should be delivered, would also help as a point of orientation.
Constant pressure around deadlines and expectations often made the overall mood in day-to-day work tense. This showed up in the general atmosphere, not just on individual projects.
It wasn't unusual to work late into the evening. Truly switching off after work or on weekends was hardly possible as a result.
Great colleagues
Targets and deadlines were often set more according to direction from above than the team's actual capacity.
Especially during stressful phases, the tone in meetings was noticeably tense. A more open, calmer exchange would have been welcome more often.
Great projects
Kunden
Teilweise fehlende Kommunikation
Gehalt und Arbeitszeiten
Homeoffice, tolle weiterbildungsmöglichkeiten, gute Ausstattung, nette Kunde
Hierarchisches Arbeiten
Unglaublich viele kostenlose Seminare etc
Fair.
Leider stark davon abhängig, in welcher Unit man arbeitet.
Das Team, die Kunden, interessante Aufgaben
Die Arbeitszeiten
Mehr Rücksicht auf Work-Life Balance
Get leadership expertise
No appreciation culture
Big pay gaps between people without obvious reason
Bosses micromanaging or don't care. They let you feel if you don't fit what they have in mind
Monthly updates
Management = elderly white men
Waste of time
The colleagues were very nice, but let themselves be blinded or think that things will get better.
The culture there isn't there - Human Kind Agency... maybe that was once. Colleagues work hard and long hours because management accepts jobs without mercy and without creating new positions. You are often booked to 140-160.
The bosses will tell you that they don't accept jobs because they "pay attention to the employees" to announce the following day that they have accepted the job after all.
You have the choice between choleric, arrogant or "too old" bosses - at least they have one thing in common: white men over 45 who think they are the greatest but actually got no clue how to really lead people and projects.
Change the management and get some more diversity in there. Don't treat your employees as a "resource" but as people - that's actually a basic when you're in that position. Fairness and backbone would also stand the management.
You will work 10 hours a day and it will not be appreciated
I wonder how people get into a position where they are totally unqualified.
So verdient kununu Geld.
