In the store where I was, many of the colleagues had promises that were never fulfilled, unfortunately, because they are people who know the company and deserved a chance to advance in their careers within the company... they certainly looked for an alternative outside as well.

The company does not have an attractive salary, despite them saying they are one of the best in the market.
