Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

The founders are clearly passionate about their work, which can be inspiring. The team is friendly, and if you fit their mold, you’ll likely have a smooth experience.

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

It’s disheartening to see production staff treated as inferior and a clear pattern of hiring only women from a specific background. If you don’t fit that mold, it’s easy to feel different and isolated. The expectation to sacrifice your personal life for the job only adds to the sense of exclusion.

Verbesserungsvorschläge

They’re not looking for a team member — they’re looking for a clone of their favorite employee. The role often crosses into personal assistant territory, with expectations to answer calls at night and work weekends. It’s a demanding job with little personal reward. The company would benefit from being more transparent about expectations, clearer in communication, and genuinely open to diverse backgrounds and cultures.

Arbeitsatmosphäre

Limited perks, tense atmosphere — small team means CEO moods set the tone. If you are not a drinker you won't have fun at company events, they are all centred around a bar or going out drinking.

Image

It’s easy to overhear how unhappy employees are — production staff often talk about feeling replaceable and insecure in their roles, and the high turnover rate speaks for itself.

Work-Life-Balance

Absolutely no work-life balance. You're expected to work 50+ hours a week, with colleagues joking about being “on call” at night and on weekends. Despite arriving before anyone else (08:30) and leaving at 18:30, I was repeatedly told I was leaving too early. Lunch breaks are informally timed and monitored. Wanting a life outside of work is clearly frowned upon.

Gehalt/Benefits

The starting salary is decent, but there are no additional perks. Weekly team lunches are mandatory — and employees are expected to cover the cost themselves

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

There’s an undercurrent of racial and cultural bias — I was frequently compared to the only other non-EU, dark-haired employee, and made to feel uncomfortable for not drinking or for observing religious fasting.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

Colleagues are nice to work with.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

Superiors create an atmosphere of paranoia — it feels like the CEOs constantly discuss your every move

Arbeitsbedingungen

No work-life balance, limited perks, weekly team lunches are mandatory — and employees are expected to cover the cost themselves.

Kommunikation

Communication feels like surveillance — you're under a microscope, with feedback sessions that are inconsistent.

Gleichberechtigung

The office is homogenous, with most employees fitting a specific background — if you don’t match that mould, it becomes uncomfortably apparent.

Interessante Aufgaben

It's interesting to learn about the Amazon Ecosystem although the tasks become repetitive.
