Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

The colleagues, the colleagues & the colleagues!
Tasks are also great, but the colleagues make it a great to place work at.

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Basically, the firm wants to work on too many projects. I think it would be great to reduce this number of projects to make them right from the start. Product projects that are launched before they are even finished are hurting more than anything else.

Going international means that you have to consider the specificities of the different markets, but we don't. Very frustrating for colleagues working on those markets.

Verbesserungsvorschläge

- Rework the website, make it more 2022-like!
- Stop thinking that Germany = France = Austria = Schweiz = The Netherlands. There are reasons why only a few firms make it abroad. There need to be more difference on our portals for the different markets as well. Everything that works for Germany does not work automatically for all others countries.

Arbeitsatmosphäre

When you start working at moebel.de, you feel completely integrated after a couple of days/weeks. All departments make small introductions about what they do, many colleagues do lunch break together, targets & projects are clearly communicated, etc.
In my case it is what I have been looking for: A firm that is willing to go forward and in which there is a real connection between the employees.

Kommunikation

Communication is pretty good since there are plenty of meetings for the whole firm so that we always know who is working on what.
There is still room for improvement because we sometimes learn things before they are officially communicated.
So maybe speed up the communication process sometimes.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

Top - great colleagues with experience that want to achieve something together. Many meetings to discuss, exchange, improve and work together for better outcomes. Really love it.

Work-Life-Balance

Full flexibility. We decide if we want to come to the office or not, and the decision can be taken very spontaneously since we don't have to ask for permission.
If you want to work 10 hours on one day because you have to leave earlier
2 days later, it is no problem at all.
As long as the job is well done, nobody will tell you anything about how and when you should work.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

I think this is one of the key to moebel.de being a great firm: we got Heads that are here for us and with whom we can discuss our ideas to implement them.
On my side, my chief give me free space. I decide what I want to do and he trusts me to do it well. When I have questions or when I need a second-opinion, he is here to help out or point me in the right direction.

Interessante Aufgaben

I think like in all firms you have tasks that you like a lot and tasks that you like less. Even if I can chose my tasks, sometimes I decide to do things that are less interesting but still have an impact on our figures.
On the other hand, as soon as I want to test something, I know that I have back up from my Head to do it.

Gleichberechtigung

Even if our firm is already 20 years old, we have very young employees, I'd say in average between 25 and 35 years old.
The firm is very open and I don't have to hide myself.

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

I think they can tell better about the attitude of the firm towards them.
Personally I am glad that we have them and their experience.

Arbeitsbedingungen

I really love the fact that we have a terrace and nice rooms for meetings. The office rooms are normal, nothing special.

Since a couple of months we can also ask for special devices like headphones with noise-canceling, etc. This is great.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

We got corporate benefits, which is great. Regarding the salary, I guess there is always space for more. But there again, you have to ask. If you can provide a list of things or figures that impacted the company in a positive way, there is no reason to get nothing. It's all about showing that you bring something to the firm and the firm needs you.

Doing something due to the inflation could be an idea though.

I did not know moebel.de before I started there. I think we have a positive image, we are helping users after all. However, I think we might have an old-fashioned image due to our website.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

I find it always hard in middle-size firms to say "I can make career here". However if you are willing to get new tasks for which you thrives, it is possible.
It is possible to take part to workshop.
