What I like most about the company is the people and the overall work environment. The management is approachable, colleagues are kind and supportive, and there is always someone willing to step in and help when needed. The work-life balance is also a big positive. The onboarding process was smooth, and I felt welcomed and supported from the beginning.
Atmosphere is very good. All the colleagues are very supportive and empathetic.
Everyone enjoys working here and are positive about the future
The work-life balance has been one of the highlights for me. People are very understanding and respectful of everyone’s personal time. Taking leave has never been an issue, and the process is smooth. I also really appreciate that my manager takes the team’s bandwidth into account before committing to new work or timelines with other teams. It makes the workload feel realistic and helps maintain a good balance.
The team spirit is really good, and people genuinely seem interested and invested in what they do. Everyone is motivated to do their best and is always looking for ways to improve and grow.
The senior management is very open to hearing different perspectives, and everyone’s opinions are respected during discussions and meetings.
Despite the involvement of multiple teams, communication is well managed and effective. Team members are approachable, easy to connect with, and consistently responsive. There is also a strong sense of accountability, with individuals taking ownership of their responsibilities and collaborating efficiently.
They are all good people, as far as I can see. Hard to define the whole company as one, when you have a direct boss and maybe have less contact with higher bosses. They show themselves how they are, there is no a pretension of a heavenly place where everything is perfect and you'll have all the benefits you dream, because that place does not exist, but they make the effort to give you a good environment to work. And I respect that.
Even though they open spaces to create discussion and share opinions. Sometimes it seems that those opinions fall in deaf ears. Or maybe there is improvement at a very low speed.
The main problem is not the employer, but the economic system that values more financial profit than the pursue of greatness through helping others to achieve their goals.
Education is that. But investors only see numbers not people.
Every workplace has its ups and downs, slow and fast days, calm and hectic. Neuefische has them too, and one of the things that make the calm days awesome and the hectic days less horrible, is the people who works here. There has not been a single day, since I work here, that I've hesitated to come to work.
I have never had a situation where the life boundaries have been broken by work related issues. There is a lot of flexibility.
My boss valued my hard work and saw in me qualities that could be useful for a new position, allowing me to grow. And for that I will be forever grateful.
Its hard to know when you don't know the salaries of others.
This is its strong suit, I would say. HR finds the right people (or the other way around) that will create the right work environment, and cohesion between those peoples is what makes great the work here. Sure, this is more noticed when it is put to the test, and when its tested it gets stronger.
I would say it depends on the department. Not all heads think or act the same. In my experience, it thanks to my superiors that i keep enjoying coming to work.
The Campus in Berlin provides everything necessary for you to work comfortably.
There have been some issues here. Issues that all company has. When Neuefische merged with Spiced, that created a lot of communication gaps that probably affected some people more than others. But, in my opinion, I've seen the attempts to mitigate this issues and improve on them, even though there is still a long way ahead of us.
I have not seen any situation of inequality. Also, I cannot see how much some people are paid, so...
Work is work. You gotta do what you gotta do to keep the place running.
In meiner Erfahrung ja.
The colleagues are lovely and extremely cooperative.
Good atmosphere, nice colleagues, and lots of peer learning — you can really learn from everyone around you.
Certain processes take longer than necessary.
It would be great to introduce a few more small employee perks. Also, sometimes communication between teams could be even clearer, but overall the company is open to feedback.
The work atmosphere is positive — the team is super nice, with people from various backgrounds who help each other out. It’s a supportive community, and it’s great to be around them because you can always learn from one another.
In my team, I feel I have a good work-life balance. There’s no pressure to work overtime, I can take holidays when it suits me, and my manager is really understanding about my personal situation.
Opportunities for growth really depend on the team. Some teams offer more chances to develop and learn new skills, while others may have fewer options. Overall, there is potential if you actively seek it.
The salary is fine, but it would be nice to have a few more benefits — even small things or similar perks would make a difference.
I feel happy in my team — we support each other and work really well together.
There could be a bit more done when it comes to dealing with age structure. It depends really on the team — in my team it’s pretty balanced and works well, but in other teams maybe not as much.
With my direct manager, everything is good — no problems at all, and communication is smooth and easy. I feel involved in the decision making process. With the C-level team, it can feel a bit more distant at times, but that’s understandable since I’m not directly involved with them.
The working conditions are good — good laptop, desks, and space to work on your own when you need to.
Communication is generally good — there’s a regular monthly company meeting and bi-weekly with the CEO .
However, sometimes things can get a bit lost between the lines or not reach everyone clearly.
Yes, equality is one of the stronger aspects of the company, and it’s actually one of the things that attracted me to join in the first place.
Yes, the tasks are interesting, although it really depends on what’s going on in the department at the time. Some periods are more exciting and dynamic than others, but overall there’s always something new to learn.
I really like how people work together and support each other. Very unique
Great Team
the new leadership is doing well.
Communication should improve
I love(d) my colleagues. It's such a wonderful group of people and I hope they will be able to use their potential at a place where it is appreciated.
Basically everything else. I am writing this review as a warning to everyone who thinks about accepting a job offer. Think twice because the people who run the company do not.
At this point they should just sell the company to a competent management, because the problems are so deep that it is impossible to take care of.
The goals of the company change every other day. If you like to work on something and throw 90% of what you have done (it was of course very urgent) into the bin, then that's the company for you.
I think everyone realised by now that they don't believe in their own mission.
Asked multiple times, never got anything. Don't know of any people who did. There aren't even basic things like quarterly reviews in place. One of my managers (I had 6 for the same position) did one review with me where we discussed goals and he was let go shortly after.
There are basically no noteworthy perks that is because a lot of the known companies don't want to work together with neuefische. I wonder why.
The bond between the colleagues is amazing. The main reason for that is sadly that the executives (who change every other month) are so bad at their job, that you need to keep together to not drown in their chaos.
Old, white men will get hired as "CE of whatever is available". If you count that, then 5/5.
The ones that are good and see/work on the problems will be let go. Then they will hire a friend of a friend who is paid tons of money, make a mess out of everything, get also fired and then every other executive is shocked like the surprised pikachu meme. That happened multiple times during my time at the company.
I have yet to see a a company that is that bad at communicating. They fired the CEO, deactivated all of her accounts and then told us a week later after we could not reach her for anything (she was at that point part of our day to day business). Then they lied to us and told us that she was promoted. No apology what so ever. They promised to do better but its gotten worse since then.
The company once stood for equality but that ship has sailed.
sometimes you get something interesting, but shortly after a new manager gets hired and everything gets reset and you will end up with a new work package.
So verdient kununu Geld.
