Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich
The company works like an eastern European socialist republic in the eighties (no offense). Workers have no motivation at all, since their quality of life conditions will not change and there is no challenge at all. Management is like the party, a closed circle of friends in key positions trying to maintain the status quo for themselves. The only solution is to leave, for most that is easy, some others have invested so much time trying hard to improve conditions, that the decision is not that easy.

Change all of the middle management. They have forgotten what the work is about and are no longer willing to listen.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
Everybody is friends with each other, but the friendlier you get with management, the more chances you have to climb. Only a small selected club gets to have a carrier.
Kommunikation
Horrible, secrecy is key in this company. It seems as there is a flat hierarchy, but the truth is that decisions are made unilaterally from the top, and are obnoxious to the real requirements of the job.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
Although most colleagues are nice, not much has been done to change a situation in which promotions are non-existent (much less salary raises).
Work-Life-Balance
Home office is available, which is nice, but it was only made possible by the COVID pandemics, before that they came up with hundreds of excuses to no allow it. And if your life consist of a family with kids in the suburbs of Cologne, you can forget about owning a car, and much less your own house. This is not the place to see progress through effort.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
They seem friendly, but they will never fight for their workers. They will always put themselves ahead, those aren't leaders, those are pushers.
Interessante Aufgaben
At first, but after some years of doing the same job without possibility of development, it gets bored. Also, this company has the worst software for their own tasks. Fortunately we have Microsoft Office to save the day.

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
There are few older colleagues. The company prefers older workers to leave in order to renew their workforce with younger, less payed people, they do not care at all about know-how. All the work is shifting to Southern Asia anyway.
Arbeitsbedingungen
The better you work, the more they expect from you. That seems normal except for the fact that the company does not correspond the effort with salary increase, or promotions, or any type of recognition.

For the last 7 years there were no salary increases apart for the legal mandatory ones.
