Communication between employees is accessible and personable
Big priority for the business
Diverse, and interesting tasks giving you autonomy to be impactful
Colleague cohesion
The application process was great
See points before.
Attitude towards the employee
Continuous control that blocks your work more and more
Processes must be defined and placed in the company
The filing of documents must be regulated in such a way that they are accessible to new employees (the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing)
Exchange of management in the area of finance and accounting
Management in the areas of accounting and tax should be replaced as quickly as possible and the mindset regarding future collaboration with employees should be reconsidered. The change of employees takes place annually and as employees leave, the knowledge in the company also goes away. For me, the company is a fragile structure.
The culture is to be continually controlled. External consultants are hired to take on this job. An external consultant is more valued and trusted than your own employee. The consequence is that you are in constant stress just to meet the goals and expectations of management. As a result, the external consultants have no respect at all because they always have the upper hand. This meant that I could no longer sleep at night because I sometimes thought that I hadn't done enough to be able to present the progress of my work in the next status report. Culture of complete distrust of employees
I can only agree with the comments of the last reviewers, the company has received an absolutely bad image due to the change of management two years ago. Absolute hire and fire policy. In the company you are not an employee but a number/soldier who has to function. Saved with daily checks by external consultants
Unavailable. Endless open point lists that are kept, when must be completed/completed by when, constant checking of the work progress, both in terms of subject matter and time by external consultants, is normal for a 12 to 14 hour day. Above all, the work is made more difficult by the fact that neither the structure of communication nor the division of work, i.e. the process management by the VP Accounting and Tax, is present. This mismanagement means that you sometimes have to search forever to find the right data/documents. I have never experienced a company like this that still has such catastrophic filing control over the respective topics
Further education and training in the area of finance are not supported. The money is better invested in external consultants
The amount of work is balanced out with a good salary
Since many colleagues were replaced and are therefore new and trying to find their way in the chaos, the cohesion among colleagues was very good. All colleagues are very friendly, helpful and supportive. That's the only positive thing I can say about this company
die 50 darf nicht überschritten sein
If you ask questions and want qualified answers, you've come to the wrong place at VP accounting and tax. She is an excellent boss. At first everything seems very friendly and happy. She is completely incompetent. For a company that still prepares its financial statements according to German accounting standards (HGB) and has stakeholders interested in the audit, she neither speaks German nor has any knowledge of German accounting (HGB). And this is supposed to be a superior from whom one can learn something? She doesn't even understand international accounting. When questions are directed to her, they are brushed off with a silly smile.
A professionally ticking time bomb. Furthermore, the employees are technically better at what they can do than the VP, the technical perfection for her position is beyond her ability. This is strictly prevented so that the CFO and especially the CEO do not notice how weak this manager is.
Hire and Fire Kultur. Kein Interesse an langfristigen Beschäftigungsverhältnissen.
There is no onboarding. After a week on board you should know everything, be able to do it and understand everything. If you have any questions, you won't get any answers from management because the VP Head of Accounting and Tax is not up to the professional requirements even with the topic that needs to be dealt with technically. Due to the professional overload, she is hiding behind the knowledge of expensive consultants and tries to keep the employees stupid and ignorant. The exchange takes place via a thousand open point lists, which are updated daily but do not add any value because the VP does not coordinate who has to do what and when. She is an absolute misfit in the company. You're lucky if an employee can help you a little, as a lot of employees who still had some knowledge of the past have left in the last six months. The rest of the employees are new themselves and are trying to somehow find their way in the chaos.
Many topics are being worked on and therefore there is diversity. However, the many topics result from the fact that the topics that should have been completed three years ago are still relevant.
- PPRO is a rapidly modernising Fintech! Multiple challenges still remain, but every team member is engaged and committed to up-level the organisation.
- Working with superbly talented colleagues
- Treated with respect and maturity (responsible for own delivery)
As previously stated, PPRO is transitioning into a modern forward-thinking organisation. Although great progress being made, modernising an organisation takes time, which could be expedited with additional budget allocated.
Collaborative, with regular team events.
External commitments, such as last-minute family issues have always been respected
Cross-functional relationships are actively encouraged
Positive, continuously improving with new leaders joining PPRO
Good! Transparent updates from leadership
Past time
Very disappointing after the last round of layoffs.
It depends on the roll, but generally ok.
Good salaries are reserved for people brought by the leading party.
It was nicer before until leadership brought their crew to destroy stuff.
Older colleagues left as they didn't find a common language with the leading party.
Everything is sugarcoated, but eventually, bad news are served.
It was way better.
Extremely poor. New leadership is hiding stuff from employees.
We are leaders in this field.
It is interesting how messy it can be.
Colleagues are very nice and professional, you can learn a lot from them, unfortunately, the good ones are leaving ...
PPRO was one of the best companies to recommend in Germany, but not anymore with those new managers that force their opinions and technology choices within each implementation plus a lot of micro-management
Top managers should question why so many good people leaving and they should look for the reasons behind that.
The whole company changed when the new CTO arrived, he brought a bunch of managers/principals with him and they were like `You guys don't know anything and we know better` and that led to many good engineers leaving the company as they disagree with many approaches forced by those managers plus the micro-management.
Recently they forced everyone to work from the office 2 days per week, just because someone felt not enough connected, this was a very bad decision and many are considering leaving or have left already because of that.
No career development plan, some people have lead positions to justify the higher salary they got without doing anything related to a lead.
Colleagues are very nice and professional, you can learn a lot from them.
a lot of micro-management especially from the new managers brought by the new CTO.
Communication is getting worse and worse.
Overall the salary range is within the market ranges.
free I-phone that you can use for private calls
leadership and mismanagement
value your employee in reality not only on paper and in nice interview rounds.
Based on stress and pressure
12-14 hrs work are normal. No chance of any balance
only base salary, no extra compensation
Ok, online
no older colleagues
my direct line manager only put more pressure
very basic and not fintech like
Director of Finance, CFO and all the leadership management focus on micro management and strict control.
Sehr interessantes Business. Es gibt viel zu Entwicklern.
So verdient kununu Geld.
