Every morning when I turn on the laptop I become sad because I still work here
Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich
Response to corona situation, mobile working
Arbeitsatmosphäre
Really unpleasant atmosphere. Everything is urgent, you need to run but you do not know where to. No future vision, you need to fix it here and now, nobody cares what's going to be tomorrow. No structures or standardized approaches. Everything is just so inefficient that employees need to work extremely hard just to keep the business running. This extreme pressure is hard to live with, many people burn out or just leave. If you consider joining the company, read the reviews and think twice whether you really need this. There are some positive reviews here, but I doubt they are from real people.
Kommunikation
It has improved a bit, still you learn much more from other colleagues than during official meetings.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
The turnover is very high. People, mostly the more competent, leave and are replaced by the less experienced. The morale is very low, everyone understands what's going on here. The new joiners, many very nice and open in the beginning, are quickly transformed into the upset, stressed and disappointed average Reckitt employee. A lot of people just wait for a better opportunity and leave when found smth else.
Work-Life-Balance
Haven't heard about it. All tasks are super urgent and top priority. The only way to deal with this is just work long hours. 55-60 hours are normal here. Often you need to cancel your private appointments because there's something urgent which needs to be done "still today". Pressure is the unalienable element of the company culture.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
Depends, but as more colleagues leave, they are replaced by less experienced or less competent people.
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
Not that many of them here.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
For FMCG ok, for pharma below average
Karriere/Weiterbildung
Don't even hope you can be promoted here. A lot of people just go because their effort is just not appreciated.
