habe nichts Negatives gefunden
Ganz normale Marketing-Aufgaben, wenig aufregend
There is such a big office but there isn't a proper connection between colleagues. It's limited with a few persons on the team
It's depends on the team but generally okay
Your manager doesn't help you about career management and you always feel alone
There isn't proper salary increment process and everything is on random feelings and connections with manager
It's okay inside of the team but you can't get enough experience with managers
If you are an old employee, that doesn't mean anything. New employees always better condition than old ones
Your manager never supports you because he/she lacks experience. The CEO is also very young and doesn't know how to be a CEO. Same for all C-level persons
There is no proper transparent communication and always something behind of the scene
Some people working more, some of them less and there isn't fair management of these persons
If you have an interesting idea to apply, sorry you can't apply it because you have to convince everyone and have million times unnecessary meetings and can't forward
Good working atmosphere with mostly motivated and ambitious colleagues. Very flat hierarchies from intern to CEO. The company is very dynamic due to the many young colleagues.
Working hours are absolutely fine for an ambitious scale-up. The working model is completely hybrid, you can decide freely between home office or office. It is easily possible to start later on days or finish earlier if required due to private appointments. You are flexible in your vacation schedule.
Fair salaries compared to other companies at a similar stage of development
Bright and modern office in the heart of Munich. Work equipment meets the latest technical standards
Women and men have the same opportunities, mothers can adapt their working hours flexibly due to their children
Diverse tasks in an exciting market environment that is only at the beginning of its development. If you want to take on responsibility, you can also own topics that go beyond your area of responsibility
Gets worse and worse without the management team (you can barely call them "leadership" team) doing anything against it... it feels like they simply don't care because the regular employee surveys tell them otherwise. The office in Munich feels like a ghost town, nobody there.
Some work overtime hours, most colleagues no longer do... why should you? There is no value in doing it because no one will thank you.
Also getting worse and worse. So many great colleagues already left or are about to leave, which will put even more pressure on the other colleagues. Sometimes, colleagues from one department blame colleagues from other teams.
Most of them, from C-level to the Head of positions and the Teal Lead roles, lack the skills, experience, and empathy to lead. Almost none of them have any leadership or management experience. Which is okay, also given that it’s still a young company and people need to be developed. But there is no real development in terms of leadership/management.
Just check the comments from the previous reviews... there is no real proactive communication from management side. Neither layoffs nor big strategic decisions are communicated properly.
You need to belong to the inner circle to see any promotion or raise in salary.
Used to be more interesting but workload is so high.
- Many colleagues are excellent, and for many employees, they are a significant reason for remaining with the company.
- The products are generally of good quality, although their development is often slow and lacks clear focus.
- Excessive workload
- Unrealistic goals
- Lack of focus on employee well-being
- Poor communication
- Lack of cohesion among colleagues
- Favoritism in promotions
- Limited career advancement opportunities
- Non-negotiable salary with opaque criteria for raises
- Underutilized training options with little support
- High turnover rate of good employees
- Many good and long-term employees are leaving the company, which should be a clear signal.
- Gather more feedback and avoid ignoring it or only conducting it quarterly.
- Pay more attention to the selection of team leads, involving team input.
- Provide more career perspectives and opportunities for employees.
- Communicate more transparently with the entire company.
- Set goals that are realistic and achievable again.
The working atmosphere is very negative. There is a constant pressure to meet unattainable targets, which leads to high stress levels and a lack of motivation among employees.
The work-life balance needs improvement. The workload can be heavy. Many employees find themselves taking work home.
Various training options are presented, but they are rarely utilized and seldom discussed after their initial introduction. Most knowledge must be self-taught, often relying on colleagues or internal articles. Career advancement is typically achievable only if one builds good relationships with management, rather than through formal training or merit-based promotions.
The salary is average, with no room for negotiation. Any request for a raise is determined by the team lead and management, who have the final say on the amount. The company uses a ranking system where most employees remain stuck in the middle tier, with no clear guidelines or timeframe for achieving senior status. Salary increases are capped at a certain point. On the plus side, there are some benefits like the JobRad program and MVV tickets, which provide some additional value to the compensation package.
Some Supervisor behavior is disappointing. Team leads are often unqualified and lack the skills needed to support their teams effectively. There is little to no mentorship or guidance.
Communication is a major issue. Important information is often not communicated effectively, leading to confusion and mistakes. There is a lack of transparency from management, and feedback is rarely taken into account.
In terms of gender equality, the company treats men and women equally, ensuring fair treatment regardless of gender. However, those who have good relationships with management often receive preferential treatment. This can lead to seemingly random promotions and advantages that are not based on merit, which undermines the overall fairness in the workplace.
- my peers
- the hybrid working model
- Workload too high
- reluctant to hire new people or fill vacant positions (which adds to the already high workload)
- Chaotic project and product management
- Unrealistic expectations and goals
- Many good people are quitting, which is not addressed
To me, the company has lost its edge and its structural integrity. We are hustling and trying to somehow muddle through but we are a long way from being a stable, successful company. In my opinion, the events of last year have damaged us beyond repair - I haven't seen any significant improvement since then.
- Start listening to your employees
- Take it as a big warning sign that so many (good and/or long-term) employees are quitting. You cannot build a solid company without competent employees
- Be careful when hiring new people, especially in leadership roles. It only takes one "bad seed" to make an entire team unhappy
The office is too big for the amount of people who actually show up. I rather work from home than in an empty office.
Not as good as the company would like - which should not come as a surprise given the events over the last 12 months
Hybrid work model
An attempt was made with the introduction of a growth planning tool. In reality, however, it is not really used and is not really helpful in advancing one's own career. Effectively, the unspoken rule is: get on well with management and they will advance your career.
OK
Could be better, could be worse.
On many days, the colleagues are the only ray of hope in this job.
Startup, so there are actually no older colleagues
Totally depends on how well you get along with your boss. I have witnessed some abhorrent behaviours from superiors towards individual employees. Other
- Workload too high given the number of employees. At the same time, management is reluctant to hire new full-time employees
- Unrealistic expectations and goals
- Chaotic project and product management
- Good people are leaving for good reasons
Very intransparent, i.e. there is no discussion of recent events and the reasons why so many good people are quitting at the moment.
As far as I can tell, men and women are given the same opportunities.
There is potential for interesting tasks but at the same time, there is no space for them. Stress, high workload, and chaotic management structures kill any genuine interest in the tasks.
The few ex-colleagues which made it fun to work that are still left. We head really great, smooth, fun teams until it got re-shuffled a couple of times to end up in the old setup without addressing the underlying issues. Making it easy for skilled people to say goodbye …
Don’t taking into account attitude for hiring. Relying on the same set of people for new hires and decisions.
Scaring away all people with skills, ambition and that don’t say “yes” to everything.
If “Leaders” blame (ex) employees that empowered the company to the state it’s now or saved whole business critical areas with their contributions.
Listen to the many Feedback channels. Collect peer review in
probation to avoid more people quitting because of the same people and issues.
Don’t find excuses for facts confirmed multiple times. Don’t listen to people with a lack of insights and/or interest.
You won’t be fired for having an opinion, it’s your job to challenge decisions in certain positions.
Mainly based on legacy / market capitalization via hardware partner. Far away from competitors in terms of delivery or innovation.
High stress due to lack of planning or a vision. Few teams or people need to compensate that usually. Don’t expect any Appreciation for long hours and working beyond your scope.
Career plans without any base or hardly anyone who is able or willing to teach or lead by example.
Promotions are not based on contributions or impact. Accidental promotions are left alone and demoted afterwards.
Not transparent or based on performance
Mainly marketing
No good collaboration, mainly interested in short term (personal) success.
Self-proclaimed elite circle loves praising each other without major contributions instead of empowering or enabling others.
No old colleagues
Root cause in most areas, trickling down and expanding due to hiring & feedback structure.
Completely closed to feedback, Nobody seems to be able to address the issues with some parts of leadership, a lot of conflict avoidance, bad decisions ignoring facts and trends. Avoiding “hard” decisions
Office & equipment is good, the messy and broken parts reflect the culture in some areas.
Only pseudo important news, mainly rocket emojis but no one is willing to answer simple questions or share important news or collaborate on things that matter
No issues here, but not everyone gets the same rights in some areas. Values are interpreted as needed
Depends on the team and short term ideas to rush out something instead of releasing few things properly
So verdient kununu Geld.
