As 10 years ago: Find something that generates 60% of revenue and is not called fax.
And get rid of 50 managers, instead: I swear 15 good engineers bring you 10x more and cost less.

Probably good in every department that does not have to care with the „real world“, so with actual customers and their requests, as work-life Balance is good!
The companys whole vision is being a fax powerhouse - but please without changes to the standard product- and a bit of EDI and document processing. 98% of the colleagues know about AI that „this is fancy new stuff that will have big impact also on Retarus“. When I left there was no AI Culture, no AI products, let alone an AI Department. And Engineering lost power in the company while some business guys, with no idea about good technical visions took over. But there was fax. A lot of fax. Lets hope for the best.
Kommunikation
Communication is good. In the last years Business development often explained. Fax developed great around the world thanks to all the poor companies That cant Switch Off because of the last 300 pages a month.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
Was good until 2022 when business ran. Since then its everyone older than 55 telling you that at least until his retirement fax will keep the company Alive.

Good ! No one ever dared to do something extraordinary, innovative or cool outside regular office hours (and also not within as you know: fax does the job!)

They are fine. Structure changes every two years because no one wants to admit that a strong engineering instead of a new structure makes a Cloud company future proof. But I dont care anymore, im out.

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
The old ones rule the company, so they are key. Which is fine. And I think they also removed all younger, capable innovative engineers that wanted „engineer-Money“ that could have helped the Company long term. Lets continue praying for fax.
