Nice place to work, but like any other company has areas of improvement

Most of the colleagues are really nice, although the workload can be heavy, and some people are stressed a lot because of this.
Kommunikation
Major area of improvement (like any other company, really). The management says a lot that they act according to the information they gather from those who are near to the "field", but when it comes to decision making they often seem to go their own ways.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
Toxic people are in every company in this world and R&S is no exception. Set this aside, most of the people I work with are nice, easy going and understanding.
Work-Life-Balance
I was unsure whether I should have chosen 3 or 4 stars. Due to the pandemic the workload has risen significantly, while the working hours have been reduced and although home office is possible, I find myself working more often than not more than I should. After a year of doing so I've noticed some stress symptoms I've never had.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
Here too I was unsure whether to vote 3 or 4 stars. Dept. Chiefs and managers may seem open to feedback and caring, but after a few years in the company I've begun to notice that your opinion are accounted for only if you have worked a long time for the company.
Interessante Aufgaben
Sometimes a bit of boring stuff to do, but mostly very interesting job.
Gleichberechtigung
I don't get those who whine about the company not being fair. We have women in manager positions and the most diverse environment I've ever experienced. R&s is a German company with an HQ full of people from anywhere else. There are not even language barriers for those who don't speak German

Karriere/Weiterbildung
I see young people rising to laboratory leaders and colleague changing their role when they need to do something different. A wide choice of trainings is also available.
