Damit sich die Situation verbessert, müssen sich die Talente verbessern. Derzeit besteht die Organisation aus aufgeblähten, altgedienten Managern, die nicht wissen, wie man ein Unternehmen in der heutigen Zeit führt.

You feel you work for a leader. Company is very successful, always want to be #1 in what it is doing. So you feel useful and you are valued when you do something good. Products are excellent. Company is result orientated so mostly merit based rather than politics.
People always try to move forward and are the best. The office is multicultural. Koreans and to some extent local people are very social.

The '' Zeus '' system is full of information and can sometimes be tricky... at least in the beginning. Maybe a little bit more explanation to understand the system better would be great.
The colleagues in the team and also from other teams were always ready to help, full of advice and caring.
Even though i was on a 38hrs/week contract it was still very manageable to find a balance between my personal life and my work life. The schedules were flexible so i could manage my own time.
It is always a pleasure to work surrounded by people who are motivated.
Colleagues are treating the younger generation with much respect, and that is very much appreciated.
In the team where i was at, everybody was treated equally and treating the others the same way.

The system allows you to know the email address of a colleague easily in simply typing name and surname and since most of the exchanges were through email, it resulted easy to communicate among us.

generally it is ok if your line manager is not Korean; Korean line managers in specific departments tend on insisting on one not hanging out with non-koreans and having a very hierarchical (at the verge of micromanagement and rude) attitude. they publicly insult you and threat to fire you if you do not comply with their understanding of the workplace. I am not talking about how you do your job, rather how you are expected to conceive working at samsung.
Work from Home is highly discouraged and there exists and social pressure to be present in the office (that was the case also during the pandemic). The firm is not to allow WFH anymore now that Bavarian regulations have been lifted.
depends on your (i) role (sales v non-sales; career level: established manager/vp) (ii) gender. there is little to none transparency as to how HR makes salary offer and evaluation (or, if any guidelines apply). this impact on your entire progression in the company.
