I feel technical glitches that happen during interview candidate should be given extra time for this .
Assignment must clearly mention what programming language we are required to use , because it was mentioned to choose between 3 languages but the interviewer want or expecting answer of the their choice in a particular programming language
15 minutes got wasted in technical glitch and interviewer kept insisting it is problem with my laptop settings, finally managed to show some part of assignment during interview
I have given other interviews with same setup in laptop did not face any issues
Spend hours of time doing assignment and then could not present the whole solution
Sind ein 3 Interviews + Coding assignment wirklich notwendig? Würden es nicht auch 1 oder 2 Interviews und Assignment tun?
Look into how you set up google meet calls. It happened twice that the link was not valid, i.e., I was awaiting to be invited into the meeting, while the meeting organiser was not aware of that.
I took part in a technical challenge in which I invested multiple hours of my time. They only provided automated messages as rejection despite my (in my opinion strong) submission.
I asked for feedback multiple times which was ignored. No member of HR was willing to take responsibility or listen to feedback on their hiring process.
Very unfriendly and unfair hiring practices.
I was genuinely interested in this company after seeing several positive reviews and wanted to learn more about the culture, the team and how they work. Unfortunately, that part of the process just never happened.
Across the interviews, there was no introduction to the role, the team setup, or even the company itself. The whole process felt one-directional: I was evaluated, but there was no space to understand whether this was a place I’d want to work. Senior engineers care about fit too. Before investing 6–7 hours in interviews and technical challenges, it’s reasonable to expect at least some conversation about how the company works and what they value.
After completing the process, the only communication I received was a generic rejection. With that much time invested, a bit of personalized feedback would’ve been basic courtesy.
Overall, the experience left me feeling like a number on a spreadsheet. I’m applying to be a senior engineer, not a disposable resource. Yes, skills matter, but so does how people treat each other. On that front, the impression was disappointing. Even if I had received an offer, I wouldn’t have accepted based on what I saw throughout the process.
Habe ich noch nie erlebt, erst zum Gespräch eingeladen zu werden und dann drei Tage vorher wieder ausgeladen. Sehr wenig wertschätzend.
So verdient kununu Geld.
